Love this place. Great advice and knowledge. Prices the same as everyone else but remember you get what you pay for. This place will make sure you are setup with the best options for your budget.

Always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Really enjoy going in for a look and frequently pick up bits and pieces. Unfortunately one of the blokes thought it was okay to tell me, an adult woman, not to swear. Made me a bit uncomfortable given I was having a conversation that did not include him. Otherwise great service.

I have brought several rod and reel outfits from here and they offer excellent service and advice. Don't waste your time with the bigger fishing and camping outlets as they do not have the expertise that the staff here have. If you are a defence member they offer a defence discount and have given me good offers on rod and reel outfits I have brought there over the past few years. They were also able to spool line onto reels for me and I never had to wait long before being served. They also offer a good selection of crab pots, cast nets, terminal tackle and lures.

It's the only store I go for fishing stuff. Here you get nice, knowledgeable people that treat you respectfully, no matter how stupid your questions may be. It's better quality of people, materials, and knowledge. The other stores are the real warehouses with no personal touch.
The radio adds could use less sexism though. I understand it was not intentional but I actually did not even considered trying this store for years because of the adds. Glad I finally did though!

So appreciative of the Hodgy setting me up with all i need. Just moved up to Townsville, wanted to get into fishing. They went through everything with me set up the rod for me and gave me some direction as to where i should go. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

Great local knowledge! Being new to townsville the guys at fishing warehouse have helped me out majorly.... pointing me in the right direction to catch good fish, as well as stocking all the quality gear you need to catch them! Keep it up guys!!! Cheers

I love going to this shop, my wife doesn't love me going to this shop. Great place with quality gear and people with "reel" knowledge.
