We completed this hike on an overcast and slightly wet morning and thoroughly enjoyed every park of it. The route is a loop which starts and ends at the car park. The first part of the hike takes you along the base of the gorge, which is carpeted with well washed and rounded stones. If you look up you should see the black faced rock wallabies looking down at you from the cliffs. At the rear of the gorge the trail wanders through a short treed/bushy section, before it climbs up onto the top lip of the gorge. I highly recommend doing this hike.

Fairly easy loop hike thats well marked, two sections might require a bum shuffle down if you aren't confident but its all pretty easy. Keep a look out for the Rock Wallabies.

Great scenery and walk. Lots of wildlife, mainly rock wallabies out and about.

I highly recommend doing the walking trail around Mandu Mandu Gorge early in the morning before the heat kicks in. There are black-flanked rock-wallabies to be seen along the cliff faces as you wander up the dry river bed. A kilometre or so into your walk and sign post will direct you to climb up a steep path onto the top of the gorge rim where you will be rewarded with a wonderful view overlooking the gorge and out over to the nearby ocean and reef.

A beautiful walk through the gorge and then a climb out and along the edge. It was hard on the ankles walking along the loose cobbles and some of the climbing was a bit hard but well worth it for the views. Keep an eye out for rock wallabies on the side of the gorges.

This hike can be challenging when you're ascending and descending the steep cliffs. Wearing proper hiking shoes or minimally sports shoes with good traction is recommended. The views of the gorge were definitely worth the difficult hike.

We were undecided whether to do this given it was late in the afternoon. Suggested time is two hours but we found 1.5 hours was plenty with lots of time to take photos and enjoy the views. Some tricky steep sections going up and down but the view was definitely worth it, awesome colour contrast, you will not be disappointed.

If you like hikes and a steep climb this is well worth the visit purely for the views. Go early to avoid the heat as there is limited shade along the hike.

Amazing hike and scenery. We went in the winter months and it was warm. Be prepared if you were to walk this trail in summer, it will be so hot. You would need to arry alot of water if it was above 30degrees

Very nice track well signed, there's a bit of shade in the afternoon inside the gorge. It's pretty easy to walk until you start going up: not very steep, I would have expected a class 3 as a maximum on that one. The views from the top are stunning. It won't take much more than an hour at a normal pace.

Raw natural beauty. Amazing to see this kind of thing that has been naturally made in the ice age thousands of years ago.
You can feel the spirits around you as you are walking. The walk should take no more than 40minutes. If ever in this region you would be missing out by not taking a walk. Lots of flora and fauna for the NOMADs.

Fun little hike with some short scrambles. Wear good shoes as there are a lot of loose rocks to walk over. Plenty of rock wallabies around on the rocks to admire. It took us about an hour to do the loop at what we would consider a slow to modest pace, don't be discouraged by the sign at the trailhead that says to expect 2.5 hours.

Best hike I've ever done. It probably helped that we went there just before sunset. It was so beautiful and full of active wallabies. Lots of stunning views.

Please note that there's a few sections in the second half of the hike that are physically really hard to go through.

Nice trail, takes approximately 1 hour. Bring plenty of water. It is better to do early as it becomes hot and not much shade along the way. Many flies, so bring protection.
