The mangroves grow right at the edge of the ocean in this lovely little bay. The water is reasonably calm and exceptionally clean and clear. The bird hide is a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the serenity of the mangroves.

Peaceful spot, hardly any waves, nice shallow water. Can see plenty of small fish in the shallow water, what looked to be stingrays, lots of crabs, kingfishers, plus many others. Bring your binoculars along and you can spend an hour here easily, definitely worth a stop along the way.

Not a swimming beach but very beautiful scenery and we saw a Turtle up close as it was stuck and needed help.

Good birding hide. Saw some interesting birds including the striated Herron and a great eastern egret catching and swallowing a large fish close to the hide. Shore birds were very scarce whilst we were at the hide. We did however see a few whilst we walked on the paths at low tide.

The bird hide is an amazing place to watch sunset. All the evening feeders are out in force.

This little spot is only a short walk from the car park on low tide you can walk out and see some wonderful sea life. But wear shoes ita a little slippery.
