Great getaway.
We had the accessible cabin. Very spacious and clean.
All amenities and friends who have a beautifully decked out caravan allotment.
Very neighbourly, friendly atmosphere.

Big thumbs up to Jamie and the Team, we came down with our fishing club on the weekend just gone and we had an absolutely fantastic time. We stayed in both the cabins and the 'motel' rooms. The cabins (although older) were incredibly clean and the motels had been tastefully updated. Being walking distance to the Rubicon hotel where we could get a delicious hot meal and a cold drink. There is a river at the back of the property which is great to take the kids down and have a fish, and being less than 10 mins from Eildon makes it a great place to stay if you're fishing.
Jamie made a great effort to look after us and made us feel super welcome, and we're definitely looking forward to staying again real soon!

We loved staying here. We upgraded our room to one of the new 2 bedroom Villas. It was such a beautiful, fresh and clean space. It made our time away so relaxing.

We loved sitting out on the front deck, over looking the beautiful grounds of the park. Along with having all the creature comforts of home at our fingertips, it made our time away that much easier and comfortable with our baby to be in such a great space.

I highly recommend staying here at Riverbend Thornton, especially in one of their new Villas. You won't be disappointed, you will enjoy it just as much as we did.

From the accommodation, swimming pool, playground, fishing and of course the friendly locals and staff at Riverbend. You will have the best holiday. Thanks Riverbend. We can't wait to come back again!

We have been coming here for years. Awesome spot. Great size lots. The park is always clean and inviting. The river is great for fishing and watersports. School house cafe for coffee, general store and pub for food.

Park owners are very friendly and accommodating.

What an amazing location. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. Campsites are a generous size. The host is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable

I was part of a group of 6 adults that recently spent 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) in one of the new 3 bedroom cabins right on the Goulburn River. I found the cabin to be well very clean, beautifully presented and well equipped. It worked really well for our group, with a lot of time spent under the front verandah ... even when it was raining. One member of the group is a keen fisherman and was "over the moon" when he caught a large rainbow trout. A few other members in our group saw a turtle swimming in the river, which only made the river view and river experience more rewarding. The pool was used by a few in the group and they found it to be a fun experience. The new management is extremely friendly, very positive and on a mission to provide the best they can.

We stayed in one of the newly built, 3-bedroom cabins, which was located pretty much on the edge of the Goulburn River. Clean, nicely presented, and well equipped. Staff were very friendly (Cheers Mick). Ideal location to base yourself on fishing trips, exploring National/State parks, 4WD, hiking, and many other tourist locations. Waterfalls only 25min drive away. Lake Eildon is minutes away, which is always a popular destination.
Can't wait to come back during Trout season to fish from the mighty Goulburn River.

I'm unable to comment on the accommodation or grounds as i unfortunately had to cancel my booking. I just want to say what an easy and pleasant experience it was to do this. I spoke to Debbie on the phone and she was the nicest person. So helpful and understanding of our situation, and more than willing to help out with the cancellation and refund process. Thank you and hopefully we'll make it next time!

Good family park,new owners cleaning park and resident's up,worth the visit

Plenty of regulars, but we were still welcomed for short stay in a tent right by the river. Great customer service.

Peter was so friendly and helpful, he loves a chat! The holiday park itself was neat and tidy, the toilet and shower block were clean, the showers had hot water and great pressure! The pools were such a great relief on such a hot day. We absolutely loved it, will happily holiday there again.

What an awesome Park, very friendly managers, we've been coming here for few years and will be back again and again.

Most beautiful park, staff are awesome, amenaties are super clean, option of cabins, powered sites and unpowered sites, rotunder fully equipt for cooking and dining, did I mention staff were awesome!! 100% will be back to camp often, also dog friendly.

So peaceful. Friendly, happy and most onbliging staff. Being treated like ready-made friends, though we'd not visited for some years, we received such a lovely welcome. 😊

A relaxing drink down by the river just hit the spot

Relaxing spot right on the Goulburn River with lovely facilities, a pool, playground and modern camp kitchen. Rubicon pub across the road, the best butcher in this part of the world ever, only 50m walk, Lake Eildon 12km away, Taggerty River, Rubicon River and Acheron River just a short few km out from the township. The whippy van also visits in summer too.
