El Lago

This restaurant deserves all the stars and more. The staff were so warm and accommodating and even on a busy Saturday night, they were amazing. The atmosphere was sensational with possibly the best backdrop the world can offer. This is why 'Victoria is a great place to be'. The food was absolutely 💯 and the desert's sensational. We can't wait to come back and enjoy everything this place offers! Thank you and I hope everyone gets to enjoy Eildon and this establishment. It's what makes Eildon a great place to visit.

We had our wedding at El Lago in March and it was the most magical day! Danny and Brigitta went above and beyond to make sure that all our guests were relaxed, having fun and had full bellies. The food was incredible, there was a huge variety that catered for everyone’s tastes and dietary requirements. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the venue, food and Danny and Brigitta. We cannot recommend this venue higher, the vibe here is incredible and the views speak for themselves. There’s also a wide range of beautiful locations for photos within walking distance from the venue so it’s perfect for weddings. Pure magic!

They are a beautiful caring very friendly couple who work extremely hard to ensure this place remains so inviting! It's pristine!

El Lago has spectacular waterfront views! There is indoor & outdoor dining with an awesome bar for cocktails beer and wine....and a fireplace for cooler days.

The food is absolutely amazing and very delicious! I just ordered the seafood platter for 1 which I struggled to finish (& I am a big eater!) it was so good and fresh! See pic (I'll add some older pics too)

Car park is limited.. we were informed that prebooking is required for restaurants.. better to call before arrival..

Wow! The food was really yummy! The lamb shank was great, fell off the bone. The chicken parma and all the other meals were great too. We weren't going to eat there after seeing some bad reviews, but I'm glad we tried!
Really nice atmosphere and lovely people. Highly recommend.

This is hands down my favourite place in the area to go and treat ourselves! Today we indulged in the seafood platter for one. It was the perfect balance of fresh and hot food with minimal batter on the plate. Loved it! We also ordered the scallops. My goodness! What beautiful, plump, perfectly cooked, tasty morsels they were!

First time to El Lago. Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly. Our food was delivered quickly. Both,the lasagne and squid were beautifully cooked.
Thankyou for such a relaxing vibe.
We will be back on Saturday with a large group.

Amazing food, great service. Staff very attentive and moved us outside when a table for 12 of us came available. Young man who brought the food out and cleared the table was especially attentive and friendly. We will be back!

Our table had the ribs and garlic prawns. FANTASTIC MEALS, the best mashed potatoe ever! Stacey the chef did an amazing job. We frequent here regularly and highly recommend this place. It’s a must if you are around Eildon. Great atmosphere, great staff, extremely welcoming.

Had my partners 40th here and it was absolutely amazing! Owners and staff went above and beyond to make the day special. Fairly priced too! Food was amazing.

Such a chilled out place on the water. The staff are friendly and provide exceptional service. The food is very tasty, we highly recommend the hot steak stone - it is very much worth the money!!! We will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

What a find! A beautiful spot on the water to watch the houseboats, have a great meal and a few glasses of sparkling! Wonderful host with stories to tell!

My friends and I had beautiful meals on the 10/2/24 and it was amazing food, and staff was even better. I had seafood for one it was amazing. I highly recommend this place.
