Riverview Deli and Cafe

Visited on Saturday for lunch. Good burger and pulled pork roll. Water. Good value. Lovely decor and view to the River Murray. Staff friendly and real. Love that they have blankets to borrow when windy. Dogs also welcome. Look forward to coming again.

I don't always give positive reviews, but here is a AAA+ review. Fresh Yummy cakes, coffee that satisfies caffeine snobs like myself and genuinely friendly service.
Our first visit will not be our last!

This place is a Gem. Its location on the river opposite Hindmarsh Island is perfect for walking your dog and bird watching, especially the beautiful Pelicans. Yesterday whilst walking my friends dog, I tried their coffee and had a take away egg and bacon sandwich and was very happy with both. Today I sat outside and enjoyed their perfectly cooked Big breakfast and another coffee which was consistently good. I noted that they have a lovely selection of cakes and also dog treats for your furry friends. The Staff are lovely. Thank you! I'll be back when next in town.

I go to Victor Harbor to visit grandparents about once a month & I use this cafe EVERY time.
It has great service, the food us of high standard, it is pup friendly & the views are stunning.

This is our "local" coffee place... we head there almost every day. Cannot rate this place highly enough - all the staff are wonderful, they make every effort (and often go over and above) to accomodate my complex dietary needs and never make me feel like it is a chore. Great coffee and the dog is welcome too!

Great tasting coffee. Staff were lovely. Wasn't overly busy which was good. If you're after doggy treats for your pups, they have those to purchase.

Have thoroughly enjoyed brunch with my family here a couple of times and it’s an absolute winner! My vegetarian daughter and son-in-law think the extensive menu options available for them are unbelievable, and my carnivorous bacon-munching and hot dog devouring granddaughters leave nothing on their plates. I’ve tried the burger, the bruschetta and on several occasions, the egg and bacon toasted sandwich with wilted spinach and bbq sauce. 🤤
Coffee is good, with oat milk available for those who prefer it.
An added bonus? The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating - nothing is too much trouble.
I have just moved to Goolwa and Riverview is my favourite place to be!

Great spot overlooking the river, excellent coffee and usually freshly baked muffins.

This Cafe is always packed when I drive past, so I thought I better stop and see what all the fuss is about. I was blown away by how lovely the staff are and can see the love and care they put into their coffee and customer service

It's a great little cafe

Very welcoming staff, excellent food and the best coffee I've had in a while. Add to that the lovely view across the Murray to Hindmarsh Island and a thoughtfully placed water bowl for our canine companions, and you have a great spot for a cuppa and snack! I'm planning to come back soon.

Great service, loverly paintings, good views and so easy to walk to. Food excellent too.

We had a delightful light lunch in the outdoor setting with views of the river. I highly recomend it. It is dog friendly too!

Top-shelf coffee with locally-baked cakes and a serene riverside ambience. The guys Patrick and Mark have really turned this place around in less than a year to make it the perfect spot for a brew & a bite with friends or family!

Just enjoyed a coffee and muffin, and checked out the art display, all by local artists. Great setting looking out across the river, with both indoor and outdoor seating and friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit if you are in Goolwa.

This venue is now a Cafe and is really nice. Sitting outside across from the Lake with a view of Hindmarsh Island is relaxing. They make great coffee and the customer service is excellent.
