Clean and beautiful beach. Waves are so long, it's so much fun for kids to play. Best place for surfing. All facilities are there.

Absolutely beautiful beach with convenient parking on the beach.

Expect a long lecture from the security guy who thinks he is a parks ranger if you don't have South Australian registration on your vehicle. Targeted us and told us not to camp on the sand dunes or within 300m of the Murray mouth. Told us we should have read a sign but then said the sign has been removed. As you can see in the photos we wasn't on sand dunes or within 300m of the mouth. Can provide GPS coordinates. Yet after his pointles lecturing drove past three other vehicles all parked and camping on the actual dunes.

This is one of the best beaches in Australia, you can drive on to the beach at the SLSC and drive all the way to the Murray Mouth, make sure you let your tyres down as the sand gets pretty heavy a few kilometres from the Mouth

Nice clean beach, enjoyed catching som cockes ( also known as pipi ). The surf life saving club is being built at the moment so the carpak is reduced but still plenty of spaceses. Had a good time with friends in the sun and sand.

What an awesome spot. Took the 200 for a spin down the beach. First time I've driven on sand. Super happy to have somewhere like this to drive

A little bit of wilderness, not far from Adelaide. Avoid on hot, busy weekends. Take a 4wd on the beach and find fresh cockles. Walk on the beach during a winter storm. Very therapeutic! Lookout is spectacular.

Great beach but dueto the floods the water is brown with mud from the Murray River.

Saved a turtle however

Always a great day at the Murry River mouth.
Just a shame some people feel the need to kill our local wildlife. This poor seal did nothing to any one.
At least there was a couple of live seals around too.

It's a wide open beach full of life! Can be too rough for swimming, surf life savers on duty during summer, 4wd drive access to some of the beach and a great little cafe there also.

A wide, flat and beautiful beach. Many people dig Pipi and play here in summer.

What seems like an interminable beach, with parking, bathrooms and a food shack. It's quite windy, so it might be best suited for a long walk than a bath, unless it's a really warm day.

One of South Australia’s pristine beaches. This is a surf beach so watch the children in the water. Lots of parking and never a crowd!

Excellent beach. Good for cockling and fishing. If driving on beach remember to drive at 40kph and make sure you have a 4wd or you're going to get stuck.
