Gibson's Pet Friendly Accommodation

Just spent 3 nights at paperbark retreat! My two boys (jack russels) absolutely loved the freedom… they would disappear for ages… chasing kangaroos… couldn’t catch them of course… the house was perfect… the fireplace was put to great use each night…totally loved it 🥰

For some reason I thought this was on a hill, it is not, nice flat walk the the pond/lake, the dogs absolutely loved it with acres to run around in. The Paperbark Retreat is large airy and very comfortable, facilities were excellent although the iPod music system probably does not get a lot of use!

It wasn’t our first visit to Agnes but it was our first to bring our dog; Evie and stay with Gibson’s.
The caretaker accidentally took the keys, but Kieran was contactable and resolved it promptly. He even sent a goodie bag the next day, which was really nice surprise.
Evie trotted along the driveway, the goat trails, around the lake, and among the paperbark trees. She was beside herself.
The fire pit is large and useful.
The deck is spacious and tactfully positioned so it catches the right amount of sun at the right times of the day.
We didn’t have the opportunity to use the outdoor bath, but it’s there and clean.
Inside the house is airy and neat. The bed feels small but it is because we are used to king size bed or twin beds, otherwise it shouldn’t be a problem for anyone else.
We are clean and tidy people. We are the type that at home we don’t wear outdoor shoes indoor. But we love that the house isn’t new house or sterile looking. It’s rather homey and serene.
Overall it’s a perfect property to wake up at and perfect property to come home to.

We stayed at Paperbark Couples Retreat and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived we instantly relaxed and didn't want to leave. Our dogs had a fantastic time and we didn't have to worry about them because it was fully fenced. Hard finding a pet friendly place for larger dogs but this great place ticked all the boxes. We will definitely stay there again.

So glad we managed to get a booking at relatively late notice with our pup! Love the location as we can walk everywhere (and stretch the calf muscles and hammies on the way home!). And the views from the lounge are to die for! Thank you once again for a fabulous property.

This place was perfect and we absolutely loved it. It had everything you need for a getaway.

We felt so relaxed staying here with our dog. She could run free around the huge garden. She loved the pond too.

There was almost no need to leave the house. It was so tranquil and I recommend that anyone considering staying here should do themselves a favour.

I could go on forever about how much we enjoyed our time here. It’s almost too good to tell anyone about because I don’t want to share this hidden gem.

We stayed 7 nights at the Paper Bark Retreat. Securely fenced Paper Bark Forest with paths around and across for our dog Taffy to explore and share with us. Huge decks for morning and evening relaxing as well as all mod cons inside. Perfect!

Walk everywhere. Nice rooms and allowed our mini dachshund to stay with us.

We stayed at the Paperbark couple retreat for 4 nights. It was super clean and spacious with everything you need. The dogs loved it and wanted to play ball every minute. The place is well stocked with everything you need including cleaning products. It’s a must if you love your dogs and want to take them on holidays with you. Our dogs just loved it and have come home worn out. They especially loved swimming in the dam and saying hello to the green tree frogs at night.

Such a beautiful space and peaceful getaway! We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Paperbark, the house was comfortable and had everything we needed, it was so lovely to sit around the fire at night and relaxing in the outdoor bath under the stars was magical. Our dog loved the stay as well and couldn't wait to explore the property on our morning strolls. We wished we could have stayed longer and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this place and didn’t want to leave. House was clean, minimalist, tasteful and well equipped. Property was amazing with 7 acres of paperbark forest and our own dam to explore. Plenty of outdoor lounging and dining options. My husband and I and our mini schnauzer had a beautiful stay and enjoyed bonus visits from a kangaroo, a green frog and a goanna. Will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We stayed at Townhouse 1 for four nights and we have stayed at the Paperbark Retreat before as well.
We love that you can have your dogs inside and on the deck.
We loved the pool and how close the place was to the beach and everything in town.
The houses are fully equipped with everything you need.
It’s perfect.
We will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous couple of nights at Kira with our 2 border collies. We all loved it. It has everything you need and great sea views from the deck and living area. Beautiful relaxed vibe, clean and well appointed.

Thanks for a fantastic week Gibson’s Pet Friendly! Paperbark was all that we wanted and more. A beautiful, clean, modern and well appointed ‘home away from home’ on an amazing block of land. All we wanted was a week away from the responsibilities of home and to relax in nature with our fur baby and we got just that and more! It’s the perfect spot and accommodation to just stop and ‘smell the roses’. I love that you're dog friendly. It felt like affordable luxury. Our Border Collie Freddy loved his week away! He looked so happy running around and swimming in the nice clean Dam! Thoroughly enjoyable. We will return!

WOW! What a phenomenal trip away to the Couple's Retreat! My fiancé and I needed a little getaway and this was the perfect spot to relax, unwind and soak up the sunshine all with our pooch by our side! I couldn't speak more highly of Gibson's Pet Friendly Accommodation... So much so we had another weekend booked before we even made it home!

If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing and stress-free place to unwind with your special someone and fur babies - the Couple's Retreat is the place to be!

One of the best pet friendly places we have stayed at. Immaculate when we arrived and we made sure it was immaculate when we left. Great that we could bring the dog. The place has a wonderful aspect with a great view through the trees to the beach. Never been to Agnes before and we loved it. We live in Noosaville and Agnes reminds us of what Noosa used to be like many years ago before it got developed. Highly recommended.

Stayed in Townhouse 1, a well equipped and spacious property in a great little town. When not out exploring, swimming or paddle boarding with us, our puppy loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.
Already trying to work out when we can make it back for another stay.

This was our second stay in Townhouse 1 with some friends and it was superb, great location and well equipped. We actually don't have pets so initially we were worried it would be doggy/scruffy, how wrong. It is spotlessly clean throughout, a credit to the owners and cleaners! Thanks again.

We have just had our third stay at Unit 3 and will be back for another! We absolutely love coming here to relax and unwind. It suits our family with 2 teenagers perfectly with 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, there's never a queue. The balconies, sea breezes and aircon make it such a pleasant stay we really don't want to leave. Best of all we get to bring our dog Lui. I'm sure it's his favourite week of the year. He gets to run and swim at the beach every day. Thank you Kieran and Claire for providing such fabulous accommodation for us to enjoy.

What an amazing dog haven in Agnes Water, the property has everything you could think of and more. Fully equipped kitchen with more gadgets that I could ever use. Spotlessly clean and such a relaxing home, we can’t wait to come back when the rains finish.
