This place is known as "Puraton Bazar" or "Vitor Bazar" among the locals. There are a post-office, a KG (Kinder Garten) school named Oxford Pre-Cadet School and many shops, mostly jewelry shops. Pourashava Office is situated here. It is situated in the bank of the Atrai river. A police station can also be found here.
