Hut "Kamen Del"

Me and my son had a wonderful experience - walking up there at the end of the day - very tired, where the host opened their arms and served a simple nice dinner incl. dessert. They made a room ready for us after the dinner which was much needed. Wish we had more time, but we had to leave after a nice breakfast the day after. Thanks for your hospitality

Just visited for lunch but it was amazing experience. The vegetarian "shkembe ot kladnica mashroom " was one of the best soups I have ever tasted 😀.

Great atmosphere, amazing food, and friendly hosts.

A beautiful location with a beautiful view of Sofia. Shady and cool, deep in the forest, it is ideal for spending some time during the summer. Still there are many clear spots for the sun rays to come through, making it even more brautiful and refreshing. Alas I've not visited the hut itself so I can't comment on the quality of its rooms and service. From the outside it looks clean and serviced.

Mmh, refreshing beer after a hike with Bean Soup and vegetables soup, with bbq sausage and shopska salad.

Very friendly hosts. Awesome food(soups, barbecue, dessert... everything). Plenty of places outside but during the weekend it could be a challenge to find a free place. Definitely the best hut on Vitosha. Always prefer to go there.

Great cooking and staff. The beans are the best in this mountain... So is the grill.

I've been to 10+ huts and this one i think is the best.

The place is great, location is nice, surrounded by the forest and clean air, the house is very cozy, the food is delicious! They provide free herbal tea made from local herbs and it is just awesome! People here are very friendly, the atmosphere is very calming and allowing you to chill after challenging workout during the hiking up the hill to reach this finest place.
...and they have a free WiFi)))))

Wow, the food is simply amazing, especially the BBQ - I had ribs and they were heavenly! The atmosphere is also quite pleasant and there's a stunning view of Sofia if you eat outside. My favourite hut on Vitosha!

Not only nicely renovated hut, but great hosts, tasty food and yes, you guessed it... free herbal tea. Never forget to leave a tip though, and appreciate it :)

I love it. Bear in mind that you cannot reach this hut only by car, you have to park in front of Serdika - an abandoned hut and from there you are 15 minutes walking distance to Kamen Del. There is also a great view to the city, so it's definitely worth the visit.

I suggest a 30-40 min trail from "Golden bridges" to Kamen del and stop in the hut for one mushrooms soup (if any left as the customers fight for that soup). But hoever you can take what else they has - everything is delicious. The canteen is very convinient (but beat in mind that it is a hut, not 5 star restaurant). I did not have a chance to sleep there, but I will. The worhers are always smiling.

Kamen del is a hut and diner with great atmosphere and amenities, where guests can enjoy warm meals over a nice fireplace, or just sit outside and dig into the great barbeque the owners prepare in the warm months. Plenty of space, all renovated, and great lookouts towards Sofia and Vitosha nature.

Quite challenging to the get to the hut. But there's a stunning view of the Sofia City. A cosy lovely restaurant. And you can the herbal mountain tea for free :)

The hut is still in renovation so it hard to sleep there. The kitchen is excellent and would recommend everything in the menu. Beware that it works only during the weekends or the holidays.

Yummy food on good prices and the people working there were very kind! It may take a bit longer to get food if there are big groups of people at the hut, but not too long. Enjoyed it!
