I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is absolutely amazing spa hotel great for families with children or couples. The spa is big enough and it is forbidden for children under 14. The pools are big with great views, jacuzzi zone in the outside one and somehow the inside one is very well ventilated. There are only a few minor negatives of the hotel - there are not enough parking places and you should park on the street which is not really a problem, there are not many main dish options on dinner but just enough and also the floors of the saunas are from stone and cant stand barefoot.
Definitely a great spa hotel I would recommend to everyone.

The best hotel experience I've ever had! The attention to detail of the both the hotel and spa is breath taking. Our room was upgraded to the Rapunzel suite which was stunning, the food was delicious with a fabulous range. The spa and pools were immaculately clean and well stocked and the treatments at the wellness centre were a fraction of the price of similar in the UK. I definitely will be going back and would highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic hot springs hotel nestled in the mountains! Had a wonderful time enjoying the scenic views and soothing hot springs. Cozy rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect retreat from city life. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Nice and cozy. The service is top notch, very professional, responsive, kind, organized, full of hard-working young people. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms have heated floors, everything is meticulously clean, balconies have amazing views. Decorations, pictures, flowers, and the lawn are great. There are proper tennis courts in a bubble for the season. The pool is vast, warmer outside, a bit cooler inside. Have not tried the various sauna, salt, mud, massage services, but people are certainly clamoring for those. While here we heard German, Swedish, Russian, English, lots of North Macedonian license plates. There are bikes and books to borrow. Kid stuff everywhere. Bar, cafés, restaurant will leave you stuffed and happy, they even have Latin American cigars made by various commie dictatorships… sorry, got distracted there for a bit.

The actual village is, well, better off than most, a few historical baths to see, has a potential, lots of construction of new hotels and spas.

One could nitpick on a few small hiccups, the AC is disabled while it gets over 28°C inside in the afternoon. The rooms could use brighter lights at night, a couch against the TV, a power outlet on each bed side. Parking is deficient with the outside EV charging station being perpetually blocked, etc… but the big picture is clear, lots of effort goes into this and you will not be disappointed, will enjoy your stay, likely come back again.

The hotel is amazing! The rooms are super clean and spacious. The pools and spa are top quality. The food was of great quality, and the dinners were different every day. The parking is not finished yet, so you'll need to park on the street if you can not get one of the spots in front of the hotel.

This is a lovely resort. You get a nice warm pool with natural spring water, spa, saunas and a great restaurant that serves food grown in their own local farm. The staff are also very nice and friendly. If you want to relax, definitely book here!

I had the most delightful experience during my recent visit to the Hot Springs Medical & Spa Hotel in the charming town of Banya, just a stone's throw away from Bansko. From the moment I set foot into the hotel, I knew I was in for a treat.

The highlight of my stay was the live piano performances on Friday and Saturday evenings. The talented pianist enchanted us with captivating melodies, creating an ambiance that was both soothing and invigorating. It was the perfect accompaniment to the already serene atmosphere of the hotel.

Speaking of the atmosphere, it was simply amazing and cozy. The moment I entered the lobby, I felt an instant sense of tranquility. The interior design was refined, with comfortable seating areas that invited relaxation. The overall ambiance exuded a sense of calmness that made it easy to unwind and forget about the outside world.

While the food at the hotel's restaurant was good and diverse, I must admit it fell slightly short of perfection. However, the breakfast buffet was a particular highlight, offering a wide range of options to suit various tastes and preferences.

Now, onto a word of advice regarding the pool area. As refreshing as the water may seem, it is essential to respect the hotel's rules and refrain from jumping into the pool. A sign at the poolside explicitly stating the prohibition is a reminder for all guests. While the pool area is meant for relaxation and enjoyment, jumping can pose safety risks to both the jumper and others around them. It's crucial for parents to keep a watchful eye on their little ones to ensure their safety and the safety of others. Polite reminders from the hotel staff may help maintain a serene pool environment for all guests.

Now, let's talk about the view – it was absolutely wonderful! The hotel's location allowed for breathtaking vistas of the surrounding natural beauty. The picturesque landscape of the mountains and the charming town below made every moment spent at the hotel truly special. And to top it off, the scent of fresh trees permeating the air added a touch of nature's own spa fragrance.

All in all, my stay at Hot Springs Medical & Spa Hotel was a memorable and rejuvenating experience. The cozy atmosphere, live piano performances, and stunning views made it an unforgettable retreat. While the food might not have been perfect, the overall experience left me feeling relaxed, refreshed, and eager to return in the future.

And a special note of appreciation for the delicious fresh cucumbers from your garden! It's these thoughtful touches that truly make the stay exceptional.

Amazing place for kids and their parents! It's a must-visit destination when we pass through the area. I can't wait to see how the expansion for children would look like.

The hotel is great. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean as well as cleaned daily. The food is amazing, there is a wide variety of fresh homemade salads, cooked items, appetizers and desserts. Be sure to try the homemade ice cream :) The SPA is well maintained, clean, spacious enough for the size of the hotel. The pools are warm and clean.

We have already been twice at the Hot Springs Hotel and each time we really enjoyed the nice location and the good food. First time as a couple we had even more time to spend in the sauna and thermal pool outside. The sauna and pool area is really huge and the view from the basins outside is great. Best enjoyed in the "whirlpool bed area" from my point of view.
In the morning and evening there is a buffet with lots of choices, there are vegetarian options but the focus is on meat, fish is also always on the menu. The food is mostly very delicious, there are plenty of deserts. From my point of view, some more focus on healthy food and gluten-free and lactose-free options (clearly labelled) would make the buffet even better. But still easily (!) "4 of 5 stars". For lunch you have a daily menu to order at the table (we had half pension and this was optional). There are enough choices, food was good and we never stayed hungry.
The view at the mountains (for the tables at the windows) is fantastic, inside it was too crowded for us but as we ate early we never had problems to get a table next to the windows.
There are many kids which we loved, we brought our 2 year old daughter this time. She enjoyed the childrens basin in the Spa and the playground outside. There is also a room with toys and baby sitters (they speak Bulgarien and might speak English, we didn't leave our daughter there and stayed with her when she played there).
So, I normally only write something when I like it, which is clearly the case here. We went hiking in the mountains nearby, in late April there is still a lot of snow and you need to carefully plan where you go. I don't know how it is like in the winter for skiing or in the summer, but for April/May I can clearly recommend to stay here and explore the surrounding mountains.
A tripp to the old town of Bansko is also interesting and worth it, the city arround is a mix of very old, very new, construction works and full of luminous advertising...

Amazing hotel. The majority of staff are very polite and welcoming. The chambermaids are the sweetest! The spa and pools are clean and there is a lot of variety. The food is very delicious, but there is not a lot of gluten-free and lactose-free options. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are great. Loved it.

That's my favourite hotel. The food is soo delicious, and I love it when we wake up at 6, so we can go get some tasty smoothies, eat quickly and after that go straight to the ski slopes for a whole day of skiing. And the spa when you get back is so refreshing! I truly love this hotel. Everything is made with attention to every detail.
