Loved this tiny restaurant!
The food was cheap and very good! The price quality was excellent!
You have a great view directly on the valley.
You can only pay in leva (Bulgarian currency ) and you can pay in both cash and credit card.
For 3 meals I paid yes and no 25/30€. Most definitely worth it

First time as visitors on a day trip from Romania to the beautiful town and restaurant. Glad we found it! Superb food, service and layout don't do it justice. Food was brilliant with great flavors and staff were great. Waiter we had deserves a pay rise :) Happy to recommend and will be back.

Super super place. Great delicious food, everything we tried was an experience. Plus nice decoration and maybe you get a table with a view 😍

We visited Veliko Tarnovo for only a couple of days, but ended up returning to this restaurant, as the menu looked amazing and during our first meal here we enjoyed every single item we ordered. There are plenty of options for starters and sharing plates, both with or without meat, but what stood out for us were the authentic shopska salad, the eggplant and dip salad and the spicy pork tongues and heart, seared in butter and garlic. Also, the staff were very accommodating and friendly and the food came out very fast.

This place was our first and main stop for the lunch. Beautiful view, central located , but most important friendly staff and yummy food. Definitely highly recommended!

It’s hard to imaging the operation could run so smoothly at this high volume & traffic. Very attentive & expeditious service. The servers seem to genuinely appreciate the tip as opposed to taking it for granted. The baked seabass is hands down the best I ever had, and I never said it lightly. The aubergine salad is good but I could use a light drizzle of honey. The crispy pigs ears is quite creative and worth trying. I enjoyed this place two days in a rows for dinners.

Great restaurant with a great view. And the food is wonderfull. The "SHTASTLIVECA'S KAVARMA FOR TWO WITH HOMEMADE GARLIC FLAT BREAD-Pork neck, homemade sausage, smoked pork brisket, onion, peppers", was delicious and we payed 32,60 leva for it. We also had a homemade dessert
"PUMPKIN SHADES-Pumpkin doughnuts with crème patissiere and pumpkin ice-cream" - 12,90 leva. The combinatiom is absolutely divine and I highly reccoment this dessert. The staff is hospitable and very quick in taking the orders and bringing them to the client's table. So, if you are in Veliko, give it a try. Shtastliveca is a restaurant that will not dissapoint.

The food was absolutely amazing! I loved their pizza and egg creme dessert. The portions are a bit big, so think well if you want a salad, too. Also, the food came quickly, the staff was polite, and the decor was beautiful.

Very Nice restaurant with a beautiful fire over the main monumento of the city and the river. The food was deliciosa and the service very good,really recommend!

Some seats are much better than others. Ask for terrace seating. That said, they are very helpful and the food is good.

Excellent food, i had the salmon trout with parmesan crust and black rice risotto. It is to die for! My partner had the angus beef burger, which was also good. The service is very professional, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I highly recommend passing by if you are in town.

The food was very good, and service very fast. The menu has lots of options to choose from, but at the same time it is very overwhelming to go through the options. Maybe a simplification of the items would be a better approach. Even though it was a peak day, full of people, we did not wait for more then 5-7 min for a table to be available. All in all, a good place to stop by and eat. If you get a place at the terrace you will also have a very nice view of the park.

The food was very good, i recommend you go with traditional food (mousaka and drunken chicken) . The staff was helpfull and fast with our order .

Love it, every time we come to Veliko we go here, food is good, fresh, the lava cake is one of the best I've eaten🩵

We ate here two times. The food was great but a little bit overpriced. The stuff is very friendly and you communicate with them easily. Some of them also knew some words in our language. Also, wherever you choose to stay(inside or outside), you will have an amazing view.

Good choice if you are looking for a meal in Veliko Trnovo, they do that thing I don't like and it's playing with classic recipes and selling them as "traditional". It's still delicious and very palatable, just it bothers some part of my psyche and can't not mention it. Call a spade a spade. Otherwise the restaurant is sectioned, up down front back, so you can find some privacy if that's what you need. In the afternoon people seem to prefer the sunset side, view is nice so if that's something you are looking for, there's your spot. Food is honest and delicious, I would say a little on the step side of Bulgaria but still absolutely affordable. Our server was Tihomir, he was great and super helpful.
