Did my beginner and intermediate course in October 2023:

What an amazing time! Such good instruction, friendly hearts, and the local restaurants are affordable with quite good food and great portion sizes (important since you're exhausted after training days and don't want to burn infinite money like a restaurant in Switzerland would cost..)!

We did also practice important things like big ears, partial and full frontal collapses, pitch & roll management, and even entering/exiting spiral dives. The main Sopot flying location is fantastic and overall it was a great time

After the 2 weeks instruction I have felt confident flying on my own and will certainly be back for more instruction in the future!

I've been to my share of practical courses and guided quite a few myself, and I can say without a doubt Ivelin (aka Ivo), the guide, is one of the most professional guides I've ever encountered.
We did the beginners' course and his explanations were easy to grasp, his guidance was laid back and very accurate and even his encouragements, when you don't do as well as you'd have liked to, were, well, truly encouraging and motivating.
Ivo also selected a great team to help him and the students to make the best of the course.
My friends and I really enjoyed the course and felt we got a lot from it.
On top of that, Sopot is a great paraglide option, and when the winds are not ideal, the alternative locations were amazing as well.
Highly recommended!!

I took the beginner course at Skynomad in Apr, 2023.
The course was above my expectations by far.
Real professional instructors that know how to transfer the theories, exercises and actual flying in very interesting, educated and fun way.
The all course is very adaptive base on the weather and the instructor never give up for any chance of flying or practice more.
There is alot of patient for all the students needs.
The price is very fair
The accommodation are just perfect.
For sure I will return.

Traveling to Bulgaria to do my beginner paragliding course with the guys at skynomad was one of the best decisions I made. The whole experience was simply amazing! The guys were so friendly, thorough in their delivery of the course and their knowledge was second to none. They made learning easy and practical, couldn't recommend a better company to deal with, looking forward to getting back over for more!

I've had an amazing time taking the paragliding course with Skynomad.
Both instructors Nicky and Ivo are professionals with years and years of experience. Being with them you know you are in good hands. They are both very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions you have.
Going to Skynomad you won't only learn to paraglide, you will be part of a community that's always there to support you paragliding wherever you are. They will connect you with other pilots in different areas and give you advice on gear to buy and even check it for you if needed. You basically can't go wrong choosing Skynomad and I highly recommend it.

I traveled from the UK to join Skynoamd's EP and CP paragliding courses. I have to say that I did a comprehensive research to choose a paragliding school, and I can't be more happy with my choice.

I can't say enough how glad I am about going there. Niki and Ivo are great instructures and the amazing team and environment they've created really make you learn and progress. Very warm and friendly people who try everything possible to help you learn and advance. Both super skillful instructors, it was a great experience for us to sometimes hear different professional points of views. They really helped me in anyway I asked, including great advice about equipment and other bits.

It is very useful to say, that the more I learn and practice paragliding and the more I see other pilots and hear their experiences, the more I realise how great the quality of the teaching was. I should say that during the CP course we actually practiced manoeuvres such as frontal and Asymmetric collapses several times, which is something that as I know, no school in the UK includes these in the CP. We even did Spiral Dive!

The location is amazing with some of the best sites in the continent for paragliding. Having the luxury of a chair lift, we went to an altitude of +1400m for a great paragliding experience. This allowed us to do even 5 big flights in a day from the hight.

I have to say that I really enjoyed staying in Bulgaria for 2-3 weeks and spent a lot of time exploring the country and try the great food.

Amazing experience. Great teaching and very good instructors. It way exceeded my expectations and I would recommend Skynomad to anyone interested in learning paragliding.

Highly, highly recommend. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to learn with the SkyNomad team. I took the beginner and intermediate courses with them and have only positive things to say. Incredibly professional; it's clear that they love what they do. Their approach to teaching and developing skills allowed us to progress rapidly, swiftly putting theory into practise, all while remaining in a controlled and safe environment. The rapid progress meant that as beginners, we were in the air fast and spent a lot of time flying; more flying is always a plus, but it also allowed us to learn and practise many skills over and over. Despite the rapid progress it never felt like things were progressing too fast, always feeling safe, in control, and comfortable as a student; I think that's something special thing about SkyNomad's approach to teaching. Always calm with clear explanations and instructions, positive reinforcement on things done well, constructive feedback about things to improve delivered in a positive light, and a nice amount of humour; you come out of the days feeling uplifted. In the intermediate course there were pilots who had been flying for some years, and even they finished the week surprised with how much they had learned. If you're looking for a paragliding school, I can say that you won't regret choosing to learn or progress with SkyNomad.

Experienced a SUPER week and discovered this great sport.

All instructors were driven to push us to the limit and guided us professionally. Learned and experienced a lot in a short time thanks tot their enthousiasm.

Highly recommend to flyers of all levels to fly with these guys! My instructors were Ivelin and Christoph, both very professional and patient, giving me guidance exactly what I needed as a total beginner. They are also very chilled and flexible, so it was super fun and cheerful to learn paragliding with Skynomad school!! Will meet you in the sky one day again!! And Bulgaria is just so BEAUTIFUL to see from a bird-eye view!!

My experience with Skynomad was fantastic. Our entire group enjoyed all the teachings and expertise Niki, Ivo and Izo share with us. We will definitely be back to have the second part of the BHPA. Super highly recommended.

It's a great place to learn how to paraglide. Awesome instructors and a friendly atmosphere. A really good geographical location for paragliding as well.

Was at beginner course at Skynomad in September, 2022. Got just everything i hoped for coming there. Instructors are top level . Truly patient, friendly, helpful guys with A LOT of knowledge about the sport. Safety , theory sessions, nice equipment. The Skynomad club orginized very well every single detail possible (including transfers from airport and accomodation). They also managed to create very special, cozy, helpful atmosphere. A group of 9 students safely enjoyed the basics of the sport under professionals supervision. Instructors were able to bring us to different hills and spots when it was required by the wind direction etc. So location of the place is also good, with a lot of choices for different weather scenarios.
Strongly recommend, this club is really TOP LEVEL !

I took Skynomad’s intermediate course and had a wonderful experience. I was able to do about 20 high flights over the course of 5 flyable days, which exceeded my expectations. Nicky and Ivo had an excellent sense of where to go depending on weather conditions and how the weather was likely to change over the course of the day. We covered quite a few flying skills that helped me feel like a more competent and safe pilot.

To offer some constructive criticism, I felt like I received less feedback than I did on my beginner course in Spain. I think I would have improved more quickly if we had more discussions about what went right or wrong with a particular launch, flight, or landing. Also, the accommodation had some ant problems, and the Wi-Fi did not work in our room on the top floor.

Overall it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this school. Although it would be high quality instruction at any price, the course was also a great value, especially factoring in the low cost of living in Sopot.

Just completed their BHPA EP/CP 2 week course taught by Ivo & Nico.

Having researched numerous schools throughout Europe I had high expectations going in…… their teaching skills, professionalism & expertise far exceeded my expectations!! They know their stuff (!!), they know how to teach it and they do everything in their power to get the most out of the day. I can’t recommend this school enough.

Also I loved Sopot and all the facilities there to keep you well fed throughout the two weeks.

FANTASTIC! I had an amazing time,
A long establish school with a highly respected reputation.
Their instructors are very experienced pilots who are excellent teachers, (I'm an instructor trainer in the UK and that was important for me).
Their knowledge of the local topography and meteorology is second to none. I definitely returned home a better PILOT!
So that's why I'm going back again soon,
Sopot is one of the best paragliding sites in Europe, and the local people are friendly and helpful, restraints and beer are very affordable.

Had a great time training with Skynomad team. Thanks to my wonderful masters Nicky, Ivo & Hristo who made this possible. I learnt so much more than just paragliding from them. Many thanks to office manager Jordon Stanev for taking care of my accommodation and Dimitar Yotov who dropped me back to the airport. One thing I observed worth noting here is Skynomad team cares less about the fees but they are super focused about student learning Paragliding safely. They go any extent to teach safe paragliding.

I took Beginners and Intermediate courses at SkyNomad. I can highly recommend the school and the instructors. Niki and Ivo do a great job - they are very knowledgeable and experienced pilots. Importantly, they know how to teach and motivate the students and they really like what they do. Thanks, guys!
Sopot is super beautiful place with mountains and rolling hills around the valley. People are very friendly and helpful and prices are more than affordable.
I will definitely come back to Sopot to continue learning how to fly with SkyNomad!

Thanks to Ivo's professionalism and friendly attitude, it was a fascinating experience. I recommend everyone to experience Paragliding like this with this company. Of course the view during the gliding is amazing, as part of the beauty of Bulgaria.

Their pre-flight briefings, meteo and detailed understanding of the local weather systems is second to none. They will move heaven and earth to get you in the sky or on an XC. They’re Awesome guys and I wouldn’t hesitate to do a course with them again.
