Fantastic amenity for the town of sopot allowing for easy access to the mountains, very friendly and helpful staff! A wonderful 15 minute ride through the valley with amazing views at the top, also a great spot for launching a paraglider or to follow the trail further into the mountain

What a lovely experience! This will definitely become one of our regular destinations. When we visited the weather was fenomenal and we could enjoy the full experience. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are recently modernised and renovated. The safety measures are in place. There is convenient parking and outdoor cafe area. This place is used by many enthisiasts who like to camp, do mountaineering. Once you reach the top you can enjoy breathing views. Truly magical place.

I really liked this place for the calm atmosphere. In a sunny weather is perfect for chilling. There is also tasty and natural ice cream offered and a good coffee. This place is know as a meeting point for paraplanners.

The view is very good. I highly recommend to take a jaket with you regardless of the season on the top can be windy and you dont want to ruin your experiance. I believe the ride takes around 10 min or more ( not mesured) best season to visit will be winter when all is white.

First part od the lift (70% of lenght) is in perfcect condition. Really nice ride with small amout of adventure (it gets really high).
Second part is under maintance and is not working for now. You can taky your bike up with you! There ale downhill tracks but i would say the are for experienced bikers. The ride takes 20 min. It was wonderfull experience. Would recomend. We went for a hike. Trails are rather well marked with colours and signs.

It does exactly what you want from a lift up a high mountain - it takes you reliably from the bottom to the top and back. The trip is so peaceful and lovely: first through the forest and then above it. The views are breathtaking.

Sopot lift is a unique place. Really special for Bulgaria, Balkan peninsula and maybe Europe. Here is why:
1.It is one of not many places for paragliding
2.The lift serves the paragliders. It is not working during the winter.
3.The landing spot for paragliding is a huge lawn. You can play with dogs and kids there too or just enjoy the sunshine
4.There is an ice cream shop. Made by organic ingredients. Coffee is highly reccomendable.
5. There is also a swimming pool. At the time I a was at Sopot lift, the pool was not working. But I took a look and i found place very good looking and attrating to me for the next summer
6. It is unbeliavable that you can take the lift go to the top of the mountain a have a fantastic, really amazing view to northern Bulgaria and south Bulgaria, since Stara planina (Balkana) divides Bulgaria on south and north parts.
7.Or go for super walk on the Balkana ridge. Please do not underestimate this mountain. Be well dressed and expect winds.

Sopot lift is а very easy accesible from the west end of the Sopot town. Parking lot is relatively small. There was a restaurant but i did not visit it so no opinion. There were some constructions so i beleive more places for tourists will there be for the next year.
So ...just go.

Really exceeded my expectations! What a beautiful, peaceful ride up to the top. 10 leva/person one way. They have parachuting at the first stop and you can hike up to a lodge at the top. What a wonderful treat!

Nice vistas, unfortunately, the lift was closed due to maintenance. I recommend walking the yellow path in the vicinity and visiting the Sopot Waterfall.

Renewed, fast, cheap. Nice bar and terrace at the bottom with fresh sandwiches and wery good ice cream. There is also a swimming pool opened in the summer.

Nice place to vizit with small kids. Wonderful view from the top. Delicious gelato. Must vizit!

Nice place to relax and take a walk in nature. Unique view and nice experience. The ascent with the lift is about half an hour. Delicious ice cream, food and drinks are available next to the lift.

The best way to get to the Central Balkan area above Sopot. The lift operates to serve lots of paraplaners and tourists. Weekend ticket cost 10 BGN one direction and takes about 20 minutes to get you up the mountain. There's a nice cafe and a swimming pool next to the entry point. Car parking is available but can be full during weekends. Take the lift and visit Dobrila hut and if you have more energy and time, make sure to visit Ambaritsa hut especially in the blueberry season at the beginning of August.

Great chairlift, went up with my paraglider and the guys at the bottom and top were awesome helping me get on and off with it quickly. The public WC at the bottom is very clean and tidy and the whole premises in perfect condition. Recommend it. Great place to fly too.

Spectacular attraction, must try it! Two way adult ticket is 20 leva (10 euro), which is quite acceptable for what you get. The only remark - they don’t accept cards, so you need to prepare some cash in advance.

Best ice cream, nice food, clean and modern swimming pool.

I walked past the cable cars, walked to the right over the open pasture and followed the trail over the bridge into the mountains

Excellent pool, really good food, and of course, a lift that takes you over 1,000 meters up and runs until late. What's there not to like?
