A treat as always. Andrews staff knows their stuff and selection is second to none. Tasted their latest Craigallachie cask pick and an Arran cask pick as well. Sadly don't have checked bag so couldn't buy anything aside from a beer for tonight, but of course, we will be back!

Amazing whisky selection! They also understand that scotch is expensive, and that you might not always want to buy a bottle without knowing if you’re going to like it. Ask about tasters, it’s not an option for everything, but worth the ask. The staff are also super knowledgeable and friendly, if you’re at all unsure about a purchase, just tell them what you like and your price point and they can help! Also, seek out their sale days, it’ll be super busy in store, but also very worth it.

For any whisky collector or wine connoisseur, this is somewhere you have to visit at least once. Immaculate selection of wine and various brown (ish) liquors with a friendly and incredibly knowledgeable staff.

Huge shout out to Bernard for putting together an amazing sake display! I’ve always loved Kensington Wine Market, but the one thing that it was always missing was good Sake. Bernard put together an AMAZING display with tons of facts and an amazing selection, only the best! I’ll definitely be coming back for my sake from now on!

More than just a wide variety of wine! There's also well stocked craft beer and spirits! Be sure to sign up for their tastings! We went to their fortified wines event and it was very fun and informative! Staff are knowledgable! Ask them about pairings and your desire for the palate and they can help you out swiftly!

We came looking for nice whiskey, on the recommendation of a friend. We weren’t disappointed. The fellow working here listened to my thoughts and let us explore a few samples along the range. We ended up with some great new choices. Would recommend.

I was out of my depth when I went to Kensington Wine Market to make a significant purchase of wine for a function I am holding.
After 30 minutes with Marnie I left feeling very confident of the choices made with her advice.

Booked a private tasting and coordinated with Harmony to organize. She took on everything, came up with a curated whiskey list and was extremely helpful and outstanding customer service throughout the process, with small personal touches along the way to make it special. Will be booking any future events with them in mind.

Amazing Aussie wine and cheese tasting with Marnie (and Adam from the cheese shop next door). Very well organised, informative and they were very accommodating on the fly with things like adding chairs when someone showed up in a foot cast and providing non alcoholic drink options for my newly pregnant friend. The pairings were amazing and we learned a lot.

Only suggestion is I would have loved the chance to chat more with the other participants. Having an activity or discussion that 'broke the ice' around the room would have been perfect, or even a time where you had to switch chairs for one tasting to meet other people. We still had an amazing time and I'll never forget the 'sumo train' cheese 😆

Great place if you are a big scotch whisky drinker/collector. Their selection is probably one of the best in Canada! Price is fair and the staff is quite knowledgeble.

Their KWM Bruichladdich exclusive cask is simply Delicious and packs a heavy punch. Where else can you get a cask strength whisky at that price!

Great wine shop lot of good and rare selection and staff has a lot of knowledge about their products and wines.

Kensington Wine Market has been my go to for all things whisky, wine, and beer for 10 years. Great customer service and one of the best liquor selections in the city of Calgary makes it a must visit if your trying to find something unique. With more "big box" liquor retail companies entering the Calgary market, its still good to find a local business that is still reasonably priced and offers multiple sales throughout the year.

This store is simply incredible. Well beyond the service level of even what you'd expect at a premium liquor store. So much interesting stuff to look at, stacked to the ceiling.
This is an ideal store to select a premium gift at and you'll get heaps of reliable and knowledgeable advice.

They made a clutch delivery for a family members birthday. The recipient was blown away by a bottle of cognac they loved and hadn't drank in years. Highly recommend!

A great wine store to pop in to when you're nearby! Good selection, including a lot of bottles you wouldn't necessarily find at another store. But a small, cozy vibe. The pricing is good, and the staff are friendly. I find myself here whenever I'm looking for a nice bottle for the collection.
