best school ever! Mrs. Ross is amazing and never fails to make you laugh. there is no bullying and it is easy to make friends with the 7th Graders! I highly Recommend this school.

My old school!

My partner and I went to the HR MacMillan Space Centre on the 10th of November and were greeted with this school attending a field trip here. No biggie, glad the children got to leave the classroom!
My partner and I went into the Space Centre before the class, just to be over run by children not 5 minutes later. Children stepping in front of us to look at the pictures or play with the interactive parts of the centre. No intervention from parents or teaching staff.
My partner and I left after about 5 minutes of being glared at by children and listening to yelling. One child even sticking their tongue out at me.
We went for a walk and came back for the planetarium show and while waiting to enter children came running up the echoing stairwell, SCREAMING. My ears still ringing hours later. Only one teaching staff member attempted to quiet the children down as they ran around the lobby. As we watched the show, hearing the children in awe of our solar system made me smile. That was quickly ruined by children who would not stop speaking and laughing to each other. So we left. We could not hear the speaker of the planetarium.
I understand children will act like children. They have loads of energy and field trips are exciting. It was the teaching staff and parent volunteers lack of direction or discipline that really rubbed us the wrong way.

Most of the teachers are great except the following:
Chrysta Millhouse Racist, rude and absolutely not kind to specific races. She forced one of her students to eat her pasta with her hands because she forgot her fork! She keeps some of the students in class during recess to finish their math work!
Carolyn Huggett: very disorganized and immature. does not know how to teach.
Sue Barrie: the most racist person you could meet in this district! I am absolutely shocked how she did not lose her job yet. She lies about the waitlist and the spaces available based on your ethnicity.
