Capilano Elementary School

In this school I have learn so many thing such as how to be respectfull, be nice to people, how to learn new things, and so many other thing.
I never see any one bulling some one or any bad thing.
If you want to go to the capilano elementry you will have so much fun and learn really good things.
Any time I feel something is not safe they help so much or when I get injrd they try their best to help me.
All the teachers are so kind and so nice at teaching.

2016 GRAD!! Let's gooooo

Mr.Kaboli and Ms.Peña are amazing teachers, and the principal Ms.Chand is pretty nice (left the school unfortunately), and Ms.Dash is great too. Dragons den in grade 6 and the election in grade 5 is great. Aswell as the school doing well in a lot of sports and the tennis court is nice. The gym is pretty small and your gonna be sitting on the hella cold floor until grade 6 during assemblies. Some EAs like to watch you work over your back some times what can be annoying. Also all you do during music class is bingo for like half the year no matter what grade, decent school with about 400 students.

I learned lots of things at this school!
Such as how to develop trust issues, self-worth issues, and childhood trauma. How to hate myself and how to cope with emotional abuse at a young age.

The bullying I received at this school ruined me. I developed several clinical anxiety disorders and depression because of the abuse I faced at this school and the fact it went ignored by the adults. No matter how many teachers I told, they never did anything to help. Eventually I learned not to bother asking for help anymore. It was something I was never going to receive, anyway. Do you know how damaging that is for a child? To beg for help from an authority figure only to be denied, ignored and scorned? It's something I'm still healing from. It's something I don't know if I'll ever fully heal from.
Every time I drive by this school I shiver. I still have nightmares about what I went through here. It's been years and I still haven't recovered.

I just want to be normal again. I just want to be able to look people in the eyes instead of their shoes. I want to be able to make friends without being terrified they'll isolate and exploit me. I want to be able to ask for help by the people who are supposed to help me without being afraid I'll be ignored or dismissed.

Don't send your child here. Please, God, don't send your child here. Nobody deserves to go through that. No child ever deserves to go through that.
I didn't deserve to go through that. I deserved better. I deserved so much better.

Lots of bullies that the school is unable to deal with.
