We thought we booked a dine-out Vancouver lunch here but quickly realised that River House only joined Dine Out for the dinner. But, with this view and a very nice brunch menu there's no regrets!
The server and the host were very friendly and accommodating, and knowledgeable!
The food: We ordered Pork Skillet Benedict and crab shrimp bacon Benedict. Both were tasty, full of flavours. I particularly want to recommend the Pork Skillet Benedict, crispy, rich, soft, gooey, the right textures of everything. Hands down. Will come back again.

First visit to the RiverHouse and I was impressed. We sat on the pub side outside which was gorgeous and not too hot. Our server she was excellent. 3 guests had brunch eggs Benny, omelette,and eggs and bacon
Everyone said it was very good. I chose the fish & chips which were one one best I have had and chose the curly fries. We live in Vancouver and it was definitely worth the drive.

A very nice restaurant by a river, with some great food and cocktails! They've got plenty of seafood options here, along with many handheld items. It is kind of out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend their prawns flatbread :)

Every little bit is delicious, a hidden jewel of Ladner

The only reason this restaurant doesn't have more reviews is because it's far from everything. If you don't mind driving a bit, you MUST try it.
The food is so delicious. The view is stunning. The staffs are lovely.

I have no idea how I just found out about this place yesterday but I did. What a pleasant discovery. The food is delicious here. I ended up ordering the Thai curry muscle pot and the tuna poke. Both were amazing. I was still kind of hungry when I left but gonna lie. Portions are not huge. They are very tasty though so it’s still definitely worth it. I will be back without a doubt. The server was great and the view of the river is also nice to sit and enjoy.

Food was really good. I had cod and chips. The fish was nice and moist, good batter not greasy.

This place was very nice, great atmosphere, was not busy, great service, friendly staff! Other people were courteous with having their conversations at a low tone, so it was not loud or disruptive. I had the prime rib dip and my husband had the I think it was the shrimp roll. Very filling, the fries were made to perfection also! Crispy yet tender. If you are passing thru for a short visit, it's a must stop here!

Food was great, service was absolutely fantastic. A lovely little spot, sat out on the patio with some work friends and we had a wonderful time. Great views of the river from the patio. Can't wait to come back!

WOW!! What a perfect evening. I have been meaning to post a review for a while. Here goes.... This is an absolute gem. Location is tucked away just off River Road next to the Massey Tunnel. We arrived at 530, promptly greeted and scanned for our Proof of Vaccination. The server was very welcoming and explained the specials and promotions. We started our night with a RH Caesar and an IPA pint of local brewery Four Winds. Apps were amazing (Beef Carpaccio, and the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail and happy appy meatballs) Next we all choose fish. Artic Char, Pacific Rockfish, and my daughter had kids meal of Halibut and Chips. The portions were perfect both our fish dishes were so fresh and flavors were so good. Finished it off with a piece of Tiramisu and Espresso Ice Cream cake. What a great experience from the picturesque moment we arrived to the impeccable service and the quality of the food.... I'm coming back again and again.

Pro Tip: Great little place to stop when the traffic is horrible. They have "Happy Hour" conveniently at the same time as the lane switch-over for the tunnel.. sitting in the Pub is much better than sitting in traffic

I brought my family here with my aunt. We sat outside and the view of the boats was fantastic. They accommodated the 7 of us on the patio against their standard max of 6 thanks to our wonderful server Neil.

Our order, as is the case with picky kids, was quite complicated and everything came out as ordered. The kids enjoyed the butter / parm pasta and salmon. The steak sandwich and pulled pork were both very good and I would highly recommend the wings I had. I didn’t find the Cajun chicken sandwich great as the chicken was dry and it lacked flavour however it’s possible my carnivore tendency of removing the veggies was part of the issue. The fries were a hit and they even made a poutine for my 3 year old.

I also ordered a “non-refillable” peach lemonade that was delicious, however considering half of the glass is ice, I don’t think allowing a couple complimentary refills would be too punitive to the restaurant’s bottom line.

All in all an enjoyable experience and likely somewhere we would revisit given its kid friendliness (kids menu, $12 with good options and add-ons available, high chairs) and the excellence of the wait staff.

Total bill including tip was about $200. $65 for the 4 kids (4 kids meals + poutine, salmon was additional $6), 3 entrees and an appetizer plus a couple drinks. ($90) and a tip.

Highly recommend this place for brunch or dinner anytime

Not far off the highway is this cozy restaurant. We were starved and the service was quick. Food was good. There is a nice short walkway along the marina that we enjoyed after we ate. There is a pub attached to the restaurant. The entrance is on the right of the parking lot. Next time I'll go there (same kitchen). It's more my style. Casual with a few 📺 for sports. Good beer selection with friendly servers.

There were 10 of us for dinner and our waitress did a really good job taking care of us. The food was delicious!

This is my favorite place to sit with my wife for any occasion. It's a long way from Abbotsford but any time we are in Vancouver we will take the long way home and enjoy an Original 16 Copper ale, and some food. Water view. Boats we would never own but enjoy seeing. Original 16 Copper is my favorite beer.

It was such a fantastic meal (had the salmon), and service was fantastic. Cold beer and great view of the river. Will be back again on my next visit from Manitoba!

Great hidden spot with amazing patio views. Really enjoyed their seafood salad and spinach dip.
Overall a hidden gem that the locals go to.

The service was friendly and quick and we enjoyed our food. We had the prime rib, calamari, dry ribs, coconut prawns & creme brule. All yummy but the calamari and creme brule were our favourites. Nice view if the river on the patio.
