An intact insurance reseller. Eyton Jones, the previous company name, had value for me, even if I paid a little more. Now, service is slow and comparables don't exist as it's just Intact now for the extreme majority of their portfolio.

The take over by Essor of Eyton Jones has been a great disappointment to me. I went from dealing with a caring knowledgeable broker (Hi Pam) to a standoffish guy who returns your call days later, if at all, makes mistakes and does not give a damn.
Be aware that Essor is not so much a broker as an arm of Intact and refers over 95% of their business to them (their words not mine) so they are not shopping around for a good deal for you with multiple companies as they used to at E-J.

After 35 years of being with Eyton Jones, I tried to call my broker to review my latest renewal. Left 2 messages a few weeks ago. No answer. Called again last week. Left a message again no response. Called again today when a lady answered , told me my broker # means nothing and transfered me to a sanswering service where I waited 30 minutes this am with no response and again this afternoon weird now an hour and still no shower. Funny tge machine says tgat they have 250 brokers. Extremely disappointed.

Used to love this company but recent information came to light and I realized I was getting fleeced. Check your vehicle information number and compare it to your registration...compare the 2. I was being charged insurance for a make/model I did not own...shopped around and realized just how much I was over paying...do your homework folks as AI should have done mine. :)

Do not use this company, they are racist against Anglophones.
