Myself and mom love coming here. Our first experience was with their high tea menu. It was delicious! Lately, like today, we get their tea and scone combo, but instead of tea, we ask for their French press coffee. The scones and coffee are to die for! **we also added a blue berry scone to our order**

The staff are so sweet and kind. We ordered at the front till and then they prepared our food and coffee and brought it out to us in the cutest dishes.

Highly recommend coming by yourself or with 2-4 people as the seating area is quite small!

My husband ordered a custom tuxedo cake for our 15 year wedding anniversary based off our original wedding cake. It was beautiful and delicious. Very impressed and will make an effort to be back!

I had my wedding cake and cupcake towers made by Cakes n Sweets bakery, and the results were fantastic! Everyone loved the cake and cupcakes. They were able to make vegan, and vegan + gluten friendly cupcakes in addition to their regular cupcakes in order to accommodate some of my guests' food intolerances. I really appreciate the friendly, professional-yet-easy-going service I received from Sheila and all the other staff! I highly recommend them for weddings :)

This place was amazing!! My sisters and I took our mom here for high tea to celebrate her birthday and the food was high quality and portions were filling! You each get your own pot of tea with free hot water refills, they also provide milk, cream, and sugar with non dairy options.

I asked our server, Jessica (who was beyond sweet), to take our photo before eating and she was so kind and patient as I asked for a photo on my phone and my polaroid camera. I casually mentioned to her that we were there to celebrate our mom's birthday and she gave us a free cupcake! We had such an amazing time and we'll definitely be back for future special occasions :)

My recent visit with my family was a truly delightful experience. We couldn't resist trying a range of treats, including a Chocolate Ganache, a Pop Cake, Orange Spice Tea, and Harmony Tea, and we were not disappointed.

The Chocolate Ganache was an absolute standout. It was a perfect blend of richness and lightness, creating a delicious cake that left us craving for more. As for the Pop Cake, I can't provide my own verdict because my little son couldn't get enough of it – a clear sign of its kid-friendly appeal.

Both the Orange Spice Tea and Harmony Tea were equally praiseworthy. They offered a delightful infusion of flavors that was both light and incredibly tasty, making our overall experience that much more enjoyable.

The exceptional customer service we received cannot go without mention. The staff's welcoming and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of warmth to our visit.

Despite the bakery's small size, it exuded a chic and cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. The warm and welcoming atmosphere only enhanced our experience.

In conclusion, our visit was a delightful journey into the world of delectable treats and soothing teas. We ordered a custom heart cake to announce our pregnancy. Cakes N sweets was fantastic to work with; accommodating, quick to respond and professional. The cake itself was exactly how I envisioned it to look like and it tasted great! Thanks again Cakes N sweets! 🤍✨

Went to this adorable little pastry shop located in a strip mall in Coquitlam. I was there for a high tea birthday celebration. And let me tell you GURLLLLLL the scone was the Uh-MAY-zing!!!! The tea was great, the other little sandwiches and the desserts and yummy things…very very good. I’m going back to get more scones!

This was a perfect spot to spend time catching up and celebrating. Our party of 4 enjoyed the Vegetarian High Tea. You can also get a French Press coffee as an alternate beverage, but their tea selection had something to suit every taste. The tea cups sets were lovely and the portions were just right. We will be going back to try some of their other delectables and deserts, especially the Ube flavored ones.

My friends and I went here on Saturday for high tea. This was the first experience we’ve ever had at cakes n sweets. It’s a really cute place. The staff are great as well and we really enjoyed the high tea. I also ended up going home with a carrot flavoured cupcake and the mini vanilla bean cheesecake. Omg they were so delicious! Hoping to come back in the near future to try more of what they offer and definitely to try out the cakes they have as well. Thank you Cakes N Sweets!

We have been ordering our cakes from Cakes n Sweets since we moved to Poco. Sheila never disappointed us and would always exceed our expectation. The cake is not too sweet, so you don`t feel guilty indulging in it. The to-go cakes are also available in their store in small sizes so you get to try them even without a special occasion. The chocolate ganache is so far, my ultimate favorite.

We’ve ordered a cake for a wedding, bridal shower, and baby shower and each cake has been beautiful. The flavour is also very good. We’ve gotten the strawberry cream each time for the cake and we like it because it isn’t overly sweet. For our wedding we also ordered a variety of cupcakes and everyone really enjoyed them.

I took my wife here for her birthday and we both were really happy with the service we received. We ordered the high tea menu. Just so you know, you need to make reservation for high tea. All items on the serving were really delicious and fresh scones are so Good. Macaroons were crunchy outside and soft inside. Tea selection was good enough. Staff was attentive. We will recommend this place to family and friends for sure

Amazing and delicious cake!!! I placed my order via email with Shiela who walked me through the process and understood my vision. I ordered a custom gender reveal cake for my girlfriend and her husband and it was gorgeous!! The photo does not do it justice but you can see the details, it was so beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned!! The cake itself was delicious, not too sweet and moist. I took a few of their business cards to the gender reveal party and thank goodness I did, everyone wanted to know where I got the cake made from. It got so many compliments and it deserved it, Cakes'n Sweets deserves the recognition. Before I ordered the cake, I purchased one of their cupcake and it was delicious!! When I picked up the gender reveal cake, I purchased one of their scones to go, again it was delicious, one of the best scones I've had!! It is honestly a hidden gem in Coquitlam and absolutely worth the trip if you are not in the area.

We grabbed a bag from Good to Go a few times and really liked everything. My favourite are pops. We also ordered cupcakes for my daughter birthday first daycare.

I enjoyed celebrating my birthday here with friends and family. The high tea menu is quite good and the atmosphere is cozy.

All of the guests really enjoyed the lemon curd and raspberry filling in the custom cake I had ordered for a 1st birthday. The icing was not too sweet. I really liked the way they took the time to decorate it. I was really pleased with the pricing and of course the taste!!

I went in to get a few items so I could make my own little birthday bundle for a friend. When I asked for a box for the items, the incredibly kind employee put this beautiful box together for me with the stuffing and everything! I am so impressed!

They also have the most delicious lemon cupcake that I have ever had. Would highly recommend!

My Husband and I ordered our beautiful Wedding cake from Cakes n Sweets for our Wedding at Swaneset on Saturday, September 18, 2021. I’ve ordered from Cakes n Sweets many times in the past for other occasions so I knew I wanted to our order our wedding cake from there. Shiela is wonderful and quick to respond to emails. I sent Shiela reference photos of what we wanted our cake to look like and it turned out perfect! Our cake was SO beautiful and tasted amazing! We went with a 3 tiered cake for 102 guests and chose tuxedo, lemon and red velvet. All 3 flavours were delicious! We were also able to do a cake tasting prior to placing our order and tried a variety of other great tasting flavours. My Mom and my two sisters also ordered an absolutely beautiful 2 tiered vanilla cake for my Bridal Shower on August 29, 2021 that tasted amazing as well!! Thank you so much to Shiela and the Cakes n Sweets Team for the incredible Wedding and Bridal Shower cakes!! 🤗❤
