Been using PSV for the last 6 years. Each time they have gone above and beyond with cleaning of my tiles carpets area rugs and mattress. We have never had a problem with them and there prices are more then fair. There tile work is unbelievable , would of took way to long for myself to do it.
Over all I rate them 5 stars and highly recommend them.

We have been using for our carpet and duct cleaning for many years. Their quality of service is far better and less expensive than any of the services that we used in the past. I would recommend them.

I hired PSV Power Steam & Vac Ltd to clean the carpet and recliner in my family room. It was cleaned in a very short time and I was able to walk on the carpet almost immediately. This surprised me but it was as the technician had said. I was given 5% discount bringing the charge to be $159.95. I was satisfied.

I mentioned that my Venetian blinds needed cleaning and I was told their company also cleans Venetian blinds so I hired them. This was a big mistake.

The technician measured all ten of regular sized window blinds and one large (3 ft wide blind) and said it would be five or six weeks before I would get them back. More than that time passed and I wasn't hearing from them. One day the girl in the office phoned and apologized for the long wait.

Finally the day came to have my blinds re-installed. One quarter of my 3 ft picture window blinds were damaged. The finish was off so that the bare metal (dark grey) showed through. This second technician told me that this was caused by "sun damage". "Sun damage" was impossible because that side of my house is sheltered. All the other blinds were clean and I was satisfied until I tried to close the blinds on my spare bedroom blinds. There was no rod on that blind so I phoned and told them to bring me the missing rod.
A few days later the first technician brought in a rod and installed it. When I went to close the blind I discovered that the rod was broken (only 3/4 in length) and it was lamely connected with masking tape.

I phoned the office, threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau. The next day (today, August 26) the first technician brought in and installed a full sized rod. Now the sun was shining and he could see there was no way the large blind could have been sun damaged. I requested a partial refund for my damaged blind.

This was another incident of a company trying to take advantage of senior citizens.

Time passed through one of the hottest spells we have experienced here in Langley but I knew it wouldn't be too long now before getting them back

I hired this company to clean my eavestroughs and dryer ducts. They told me I needed to be home, so I took a vacation day.

That morning, they called to postpone to the next day, because they had not scheduled enough people to work. When I pointed out that I had taken time off for this, they said I didn't need to be home after all.

The next evening the gutter at the ground floor looked pretty clean, and maybe the next floor at the front, but at the back they were definitely terrible. I climbed up on a ladder to check the insides: not clean either. I waited a week for them to finish the job, then e-mailed to point out that the work had not been done to the standard I expected.

They said that an inexperienced person had done the estimate, that they had worked of hours to do what they had done and that that was all they could do for the agreed upon amount. They told me how much it would cost to complete. They also said that they had made an error saying I didn't have to be home for the dryer duct cleaning. I still wanted the gutters and ducts cleaned, and it seemed like an honest mistake, so I agreed to the additional amount, and my husband took a day off work to wait for them.

They never showed up. They never said why. They never responded to e-mails asking when or whether they intended to complete the work. My gutters are still filthy. It's the weirdest thing. They cold called me for years, and finally I said, "yes, I'll give you money to do this thing you contract to do" and they don't do it.

So they cost us two days off work and a couple hundred bucks, but when I sit in my backyard and look up at the house I still think, "damn, those eavestroughs need cleaning."

I gave them two stars instead of one because they didn't break anything or steal anything and were polite, up to the point that they never communicated with us again.

If there was a half star rating I would have given them that. But only for the nice lady that calls for booking appointments. Booked and confirmed carpet cleaning a month prior to new furniture arriving following week. Arranged to come home early from vacation to move furniture and breakables that morning of appointment and put dog in day care ($$$). No technition showed up. Called office - nice lady confirmed he would be there in an hour. 10 minutes later she called to say he had gone home sick and not told anyone earlier in day. I understand that people get sick but surely some one should have called us before we dragged all the furniture outside on the deck and paid for dog boarding. She said the manager would call me and set things up and/or take care of us. 3 calls to him and the office and no answer or returned call. Desperate I called Coit carpet cleaners and explained my situation. They took pity on my situation and sent someone within a few hours. He did an awesome job and just a few $$ in difference. Don't both with PSV it is obviously a one man show and pretty Mickey mouse operation. BTW it's been 8 hours since the manager was supposed to call me and still nothing. FAIL....

This was the second time I used this company. I was very pleased the first time although when I booked this time, scheduling was such that we played telephone tag just getting in touch with each other. When I called back I would get voicemail, even if it was a minute after missing their call.

Now, after finally scheduling something a month later, the man who came was not friendly right from the start. He didn't introduce himself and when I asked his name and told him my name, he didn't even acknowledge me. He said very few words to me the whole time. I did ask if he would be careful not to get water on the wood floor, he said that wouldn't make a difference anyways and he would wipe it up if he saw any water that needed wiping up. I didn't see him pull out a cloth once and so I got a towel and wiped up any water I saw (which was at least five areas. He never acknowledge that either. It only took an hour as my rooms are small and I must say he was on the phone while working a few times. Hmmmm. I know it was regarding appointments but not very professional while doing another home in my opinion.

Finally when he was done, he yelled, "Done now" and asked for a pen. I noticed at the door that there was more water at the bottom of the steps and I asked if he would wipe it with the towel. He didn't apologize and ignored my request saying "Could I have the pen" in which case I finally said, not until you wipe up the water! And I then told him he was rude and not friendly. I explained the first experience was excellent and that the man I had then was so nice. He said it was him the first time. Well if that was the case, you would never know it by the change in his demeanour. He never even said that he remembered the layout of the house and what was done before. When I told him, that it I didn't think he was the same guy, he snapped back at me saying "Are you kidding me"? in such a rude fashion. I then, said well if it was you, then you sure have changed your tune in which he said, "Well don't use us again". Wow! Well, he got that right....my very last experience with someone who actually says he is part owner of the company. I give customer service one star, and that is because they have a nice lady called Gail!

After he left the bathroom fan was not working and he never returned to fix it. The tiles around the tub needed more grout and he never completed it.
