Saray Turkish Cuisine

So many incredible discoveries on this trip! I've been wanting to try Kunefe (Knafeh) for years and I'm so glad I finally did! But also the Toum (garlic sauce), Ayran (drink), the mass amounts of meats in different marinades, and the Turkish coffee were all stellar!

When we got there at 7 and the place was empty we got worried. But when a group got turned away because the restaurant was fully booked, we all got excited. Obviously this is a repeat crowd that knows the standards, because by 745 the place was packed and everyone was singing and dancing along in their seats!

Cigar Borek (spiced cheese spring rolls) - 8.5/10 - a well seasoned and spiced cheese - the only downside is we only ordered 1 plate for the 5 of us

Ayran - 9.5/10 - described as a yoghurt soda with salt and parsley, this is why you have to trust the chef. This was phenomenal, tasted like a drinkable tzatziki, and went perfectly with the meal

Kebab Platter - Adana 8.5/10 (spicy minced meat), Urfa 8/10 (minced meat), Chicken 9.5/10, Beef 8.5/10, Lamb 8.5/10, Lamb Chops 10/10 (incredible!), Chicken Breast 7.5/10. The platter said feeds 4, it could easily serve 6

Turkish Coffee - 8.5/10

Kunefe - 9.5/10 - shredded Philo with a cheesy filling and a rose water syrup. This was the reason I came here, and it didn't disappoint!

Plating - 8.5/10
Ambiance - 10/10 - fun music, lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor. One of our group said "it felt like we were invited to a family wedding"

Overall - 9.1/10

Places like these are why I love the Lower Mainland! You feel completely immersed in whatever culture or cuisine you're wanting, and it's almost always an incredibly fun and eye-opening experience. I will absolutely be back and will be recommending it to everyone!

Regarding the food, I must say that was very fresh, tasty with high quality, and the service was perfect and timely. waiters were very polite and friendly. I will definitely go again and recommend it to everyone.

We were at Saray on a Friday night. We had a reservation so no wait time, the food was great. I recommend the Kebab. Music is also on for Friday and Saturday nights. Very good atmosphere. The music was a bit loud.

The food was great, the atmosphere is very cozy and they have these traditional booths where you can dine with your friends and family. The staff are nice and friendly. Overall would definitely recommend and I would go back

Absolutely fantastic had the best night here! Go on a Friday or Saturday for music and an incredible experience. It was like walking into someone else's family reunion. Dancing, music and great food!!

The food is perfect. The atmosphere is awesome. One of the best restaurants I have ever tried.

food is 5 out of 5 - awesome, loved it. garlic sauce was outstanding. mix-platter was perfect for 4 of us with wide collection of flavors - Turkish with bit of Persian flavors. knafeh and baklavas were great with Turkish tea/coffee. staffs were friendly and helpful.

I had my engagement party at Saray Turkish Cuisine last night, and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and warm, making us feel right at home. The service was timely, and the planning was exactly what we had hoped for. A special thanks to Mr. Amir for his fair pricing and professional behavior. It was our first time to go there with our family. We ordered kebab tea and kunefe. The food and dessert was very delicious. The atmosphere was very calm and enjoyable. The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and polite specially Pouria and the young lady who played music for us and we enjoyed it a lot.

We had absolutely a pleasant experience at Saray and we make sure to come back here. Staff are super nice and helpful. In particular, Amir went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and ensure our big group had a great time. This place offers live music and there is even a dance floor for guests. The food is amazing and all dishes were tasty. Our favourite picks were lamb chops, donair, & urfa kebab. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food/ service you receive.

Our server, Tina (sorry, did not hear clearly), she was amazing! Friendly and provided us with food suggestions since its our first time trying turkish dish even suggested their desserts. They also have live music.

It is amazing that we have this restaurant in Vancouver. I really missed Turkish food and music and here I could find it.

You can find different types of Turkish food here plus live Turkish music. also you can find a popular Turkish drink (Raki) besides its delicious flavors.

The atmosphere is great and the staff are so polite and good. Mina was especially amazing. She was so polite, and she did everything our group of 10 needed very quickly.

I recommend this restaurant to whoever needs the Istanbul feeling.

I had a pleasant experience at Saray Turkish Cuisine. The place had a friendly atmosphere, and the staff were really nice. The food was decent, and I must say it was better than many other restaurants I've tried.

Loved it there, we had saray for one, portion was enough for two people. The Adana Kebab was perfect, tender and juicy tasted really good. Mozzarella Pideh and Lahmajoun were so good. The salad was served at first, not with the main course which we liked. The only problem for me was that I did not enjoy the bulgur that much, I prefer rice instead which is a personal choice. It was cozy there and the staff are friendly. Definitely recommended.

Ordered the Saray for 2. Although not on the menu, the owner was nice to accommodate our request. It was a lot of food for two people and reasonably affordable at around $50. The food was still warm when we got home. Loved all the different types of meat, the rice was flavourful, and the salad was a nice fresh touch. The only bad part was the bread which was hard to chew. Overall a good meal to try out turkish cuisine.

Excellent customer service and very delicious food, good vibes, the singer of Friday Night was so good, a Persian Turkish waitress she was so friendly and lovely 🫶

My family and I came here to dine in from Langley, we really enjoyed it. We ordered the big platter. The meat was very tender and tasty, and we all enjoyed our food. The service was great, very patient. Love the place, most recommended!

Everything was great, we enjoyed the live music and happy new year program (Ancient Nowruz 1403) with friends. I thank all the staff there and Mr. Dawood (business owner). Especially Ms. Mina was very professional in welcoming me and my guests
