MCC Thrift on Kent

We always have an exceptional time here. The prices are amazing and all for a good cause. All type of items here with good quality not like other thrift stores. We love coming here and look forward to always coming back! Staff is always kind here as well and the place is well maintained and clean. We love it.

One of the nicest thrift stores in the area. You will end up finding nice antique pieces here especially furniture. The place is very clean and staff is very helpful. There is ample parking around the area. Goods are very well maintained so I’d definitely recommend a visit to this place.

I haven't seen anything in this shop that isn't in great shape, and I've made a variety of purchases, from books to artwork to kitchenware. One word of advice... If you see something you like, buy it then and there. Wait a few days and it'll be gone. I learned the hard way.

Very big store. Organized and clean. Like a high-end shop with a super good deal!! Price is way better than Value village, highly recommended

I wasn't quite sure what to think when I walked in. I hoenstly thought it'd be a pricey higher class space. But for what I went in for ( mostly dishes) the pricing was good. Even some electronics and sewing machines etc were good. I didn't look thru the clothing. But I do have to say it is a large place very clean and organized and the people are all nice. My only downside is the building has no reception inside of it, so if you want to look up something.. Good luck. You can try get a little bit in the back corner by the other door but, it's not much. I've included some photos of some nice stuff I found. Everything was in excellent condition too!

No tax, great prices, always a good find, stock changes or rotates pretty often. Better pieces than most thrift stores. Plus everything ends up going to a good cause anyways.

I love this place. Great selection, great prices and super friendly staff! Most of them are volunteers as this is a non-profit, so the money goes to a good cause :)

Well organized inside. Very busy for good reason: great deals for an array of items. The 75% colour sticker days are great! This thrift store supports important charitable work globally.

Love, love, love coming here. I have found some of the most wonderful unique items here. I find TOK to be amazing for housewares, furniture and other miscellaneous items. I don't usually have much luck with the clothing. I have found some of my favorite furniture and decor all for fantastic price points at thrift on Kent. The staff are all very friendly and it's always a pleasant experience. Lots of parking available.

Best thrift store in the area. The set-up and organization of the store makes it easy to navigate, prices are very reasonable, and revenue goes to support Mennonite Central Commitee who do incredible charity and disaster relief work. The folks who work there are all volunteers and very nice. Plus, there is no tax on any of the items due to it being a charitable organization! Can't recommend enough.

Lots of great deals on their clothing. Lots of great stuff here. I have bought tons of stylish clothes here. I am due back for another visit because I have a $40 gift card for Thrift on Kent.

Overall my favourite thrift store in the KW region. The store is spacious, easy to navigate through, incredibly organized and clean. Great selection of items-the household wares here are the absolute best. Unlike for-profit chains such as Talize or Value Village, Thrift on Kent is a registered charity. This means item donations and purchases made will directly fund local and global initiatives,such as helping people in the area transition out of homelessness or making care packs sent to countries experiences natural disasters or violence. As a bonus, because its a charitable organization, there is no tax on the items purchased! The front entrance has an open view of all the projects that the MCC volunteers are making which is also so lovely. The seasonal displays of items featured in the store and storefront windows are also so creative and pretty to look at :-) I cannot say enough good things about this store. I highly recommend making a stop here!

First time visiting this store and I loved it! It was easy to find with lots of parking :) Extremely clean, the prices are great and it didn’t feel busy (even though it was) due to the organized layout of the store. Huge selection of women’s clothing and the change rooms are spotless :) This is my new go-to thrift store :)

One of the nicest and cleanest thrift stores I have been too.
Ample parking and the display of everything is not over crowded but pleasingly attractive. Prices are attractive too.
Love the condition of most things sold here.
Anyone who is an avid reader can find tons of books.
Was surprised at the collection of chinaware they had on display and priced very well. Selection of glasses and mugs blew me away!
Clothes you can find some really good quality ones and quiet trendy in style and displayed according to size and not falling off hangers!
kids section the selection is not a lot but can find some good games which are packaged well.There is also a section for handbags, shoes, jewelry.
Furniture section will blow you away esp for someone setting up a new home on limited budget
Seasonal decorations are just unbelievable! I could not believe the Xmas stuff I saw more than any high end store and they n amazing condition

By far the best thrift shop in Kitchener , does not have that thrift shop smell .. Great quality , low prices no taxes and best of all the funds go to a charity! Highly recommended if you enjoy thrifting!! Got the table below for $12 dollars painted it white to give it a new look :D
