Smile Tiger is right beside the Kitchener rail station. The parking is a tight but you can walk from the train!

The building was a banana warehouse previously. It’s old feeling, but comfortable. There’s exposed steel beams and wooden floors that are worn and homey.

Mostly, there’s coffee. They roast beans themselves. The ones I have tried are bold , smooth and not overly bitter. They have some baked goods and Texas toast with a layer of ricotta cheese. I don’t go for the baked goods as much as the coffee and atmosphere.

I love this little gem of Kitchener. Smile Tiger has the most perfect cozy atmosphere, and I love all of the local artists on display - from musicians to poets and visual artists. There is ample seating, and I have never had issues with parking - rare for a cafe that close to downtown!

Their coffee is delicious and reasonably priced, even for add-ons. I've purchased their beans in the past and was quite pleased with the coffee I got out of them.

Their baristas have always been friendly, and willing to answer my five thousand questions about their fancy coffees before I order a drip coffee LMAO. Bless them. (I do order the fancier coffees sometimes!)

When I think of the perfect cafe, Smile Tiger is always the first to come to mind. 11/10. Perfection.

Nice cafe by Kitchener GO / VIA stations, with parking available for customers. Ambience and coffee was pretty good, and seating was available on a Saturday afternoon.

I really liked the ambience. Its not very expensive, atleast for coffee. Moreover, its an apt place to work as well. Would love to go again.

Visited our one of fav coffee house again. This sure is a hidden gem.
We indulged in pecan bar , mocha cold brew and cappuccino.
The atmosphere here is cozy warm and welcoming. Much love.

Cozy comfort coffee house close to the train station.
Ordered mocha and hazelnut brownie was just amazing. Must try who love choclate and hazelnut. Interior is well designed , good seating and friendly staff.
Not much parking and also please extend hours.

Such a nice study caffee! The wi-fi works great, there's a fair variety of drinks and snacks. The bathrooms are clean and the stuff is very friendly

Discovered this coffee shop next to the via rail station when I was stranded in Kitchener for 4 hours cz of poor bus frequency. The cafe is a relief for what felt like the middle of nowhere (compared to Toronto). Also the coffee is pretty good and I happily spent my waiting time here.

Beautiful cafeteria. Nice decor. Cozy. Good for groups. A place for students. Passengers drop by too. Their poppyseed bagel was good. Nice welcoming staff.

Honestly probably the best hazelnut latte I have ever had, the food was absolutely amazing (tried the warm pretzels and the cheese scones). Way better than average cafe food. Also the place has good wifi with no issues. My only complaint would be they don’t have many outlets, so definitely charge your device before you go or scope out a spot close to an outlet.

Nice small brew coffee place at Kitchener train station. Good ambiance, Good Matcha Latte and London Fog (for non coffee drinker). Must try their Empanadas (I took the Spice Beef One. Amazing) or Toast Bar (Bagels or Sour Dough Toast Yum👍).

Great pour over coffee, great ambience, delicious desert snacks to accompany the coffee! We bought a bag each of all of their signature roasts - except the decaf. Good choice for a coffee stop instead of the usual Time or Starbucks. Glad we did!

Great coffee, nice staff, good food! Make sure that if you want a specific food you get there early since it's by the train station and can get very busy so stuff does run out. Great open space with options for seating, greenery and art.

Haven’t tried all their drinks as I usually just get coffee but It’s a nice local place with a nice vibe and I like the seating. Very relaxed vibe with a slightly hipster crowd. Hand roasted coffee I’ve bought is nice too. Some staff could be a little more attentive especially if they expect a tip but staff comes and go throughout the years.
