Orono Veterinary Hospital

I've been going to the Orono Vet Hospital for years now. Everyone on staff is great and I just spoke with Kelly today. She is knowledgeable and friendly. A fellow dog owner who cares.

The best vets and services. We have been going here for years with our dogs and cats. They are reasonably priced and do not oversell you. Dr. Stephenson literally saved our dog’s life and was so thorough. So happy with them and so happy we are lucky enough to bring our animals here!

Great experience. My little Peppers just had surgery and incisions healed up great and have had no issues... I have trusted Orono Vet with all of my pups and it's always been worth the drive!!

The best veterinary hospital in all of Durham region. They took such good care of all our pets especially our rescue Daisy when she required ACL surgery. We were quoted over 4,000 and in Orono we paid 2,800 using the SAME surgeon as Midtown in Cobourg. When we had to give Daisy to a family without other dogs two months later, they helped us by covering Daisies annual vet bill. In the 9 months we had Daisy we paid over 10,000 in veterinary care and rehab. I’m happy to say she’s in a wonderful home now and living her best life. Thankyou to Orono veterinarians and reception staff etc for being such understanding, compassionate listeners and for all your support with all of our pets but mostly for being there for us through our journey with Daisy. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

This is the greatest animal hospital I’ve ever been to. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s worth the little drive to Orono

Have been to this clinic a few times to deal with some issues that my gf's dog has been experiencing.

I have been a groomer for 33 years, working at several vet clinics during my career.

I also bred and showed several champion poodles for 25 years.

The clinic is clean, the two vets we have dealt with including the owner have been VERY professional and responsive. They listened to our concerns intently. They also took my experience into consideration. They suggested some avenues of investigation, BUT unlike so.many other clinics, they never tried to "upsell" us and even advised against some more costly procedures.

We know the poor little girl has VERY limited time with us. But it is comforting to know they have shown great compassion for Bailee, already.

I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic for ANY of your veterinary needs!!!

We have been going to Orno Veterinary clinic now since 2016, They are absolutely incredible.. Everyone there are amazing..From the Incredible Doctors to the Amazing Staff Outstanding..... so understanding to all our needs and so helpful with all our questions about our pets.. Orono Vet has taken care of our Dog for his entire life. They treat him like part of the family. He has had a few major complications in his 9 years and not once have we ever been let down by the service we receive here. The entire staff should be commended for the amazing care they provide. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

My family and I have went for years, every pet throughout our family would visit matt for along as I can remember. And the newest addition stitch will be making her first visit

The staff are extremely compassionate and we are more then great full that in such a hard time for our family they made absolutely certain that our Murphy was treated like a royalty. we can't thank the staff enough for the way they helped us. would recommend this facility to any pet lovers.

My flat coat/Aussie shepherd mix just had her spaying. I was extremely nervous due to PTSD from my own medical experiences - OVH staff were understanding and extremely kind, took all the time to address my concerns and worries and accommodated Violet and I accordingly. Extremely grateful for the continued quality care they have provided my fur babies over the last 10 years. They are truly the best around - special shout out to Britney for her incredible kindness and patience.

We have always taken our pets here. From our first dog lenny to our newest sunny, we have always been taken well care of. We personally have been coming here for over 12 years and have had family going even longer. I'd never take my family anywhere else if possible! They're busy for a very good reason! 10/10!

My wife and I are happy we found the Orono Vet. Dr Harton is fantastic. The vets there are all very knowledgeable and caring and take the time to discuss your pets needs. The bill is reasonable and the animal care is top notch.

I love Orono veterinary. They are all very good .and they care about your animals not like some of these vets that have been boughten by a big corporations and no one can even afford to go to .So please Orono please don't ever sale out thanks

I love Orono Vet! This entire Team is excellent! From reception to vet techs to the Dr’s! I’ve been coming here 11+ years and had the best care given to my babies!! Highly recommend!!!!!
