Maple Ridge Park

Wonderful park with plenty of activities and spaces, shaded areas, seating and toilets. The Large spray pad tops this off especially for warm and sunny days. There is a large open area which is perfect for setting up volleyball nets or playing other ball sports, with large trees providing shade around the perimeter for setting up picnic mats/chairs. There is also a short walk by the river which spots to go right down to the water. It can get busy on the hot days, but we found going early around 10-11am it was not too busy and easy to get a parking spot in the main lot.

Maple Ridge Park offers an enchanting escape into nature's embrace. As I strolled through the verdant pathways, I was captivated by the symphony of rustling leaves and birdsong. Always love going down to this park. There is a splash park for the littles, picnic tables for fun gatherings, a playground and wandering trails next to the creek.
We love going down with our dogs and walking amidst the tall old growth cedars and enjoying the sound of the water. Great place for a family BBQ or picnic 🧺

Wow, beautiful spot! It's perfect for a lovely day out with friends and family. The kids would have a blast playing in the playground, and the lush trees provided a perfect shade for a cozy picnic.

The whole family had so much fun here. Not too crowded, clean and a lots of play structures for kids all ages to play together. Splash pad is also perfect for my little one. So we had a good time picnic and play there all day

Such a great park. Fun for the whole family. There is a newly completed walkway from the park all the way to 'Wild Play'. It's really finished beautifully!

We meet here every week to have lunch together using social distancing. There are always a bunch of children in the play areas and big fir and cedars to sit under and keep cool. The park is right on a river too.

I've been going to this park my whole life, since I was a little kid and it's a beautiful place to connect to nature. The new trail additions up to Hot Rocks are great, we saw some beautiful eagles and herons while walking here. Let's protect nature 💚

Beautiful park in the middle of the city, quiet and not busy

My family has never had anything less than a wonderful time in the three years we have been frequenting this park. Perfect for children of any age, plenty of room for picnics, clean washrooms, and a lovely view of the beautiful river.

Nice spray park in Maple Ridge Park. There is ample parking and washroom facilities are available. Since this spray park is in Maple Ridge park there is lots of other areas to explore. There is also a playground for the kids also.

This is a wonderful park for families...a water park, superb playground, trails, picnic tables, lots of shade. The only issue is parking, particularly for special occasions, such as the annual Easter Egg hunt. Recommend it!

This place is awesome for all. Kids, Adults, Puppies. The trails are amazing and good for beginner walkers. The park is good for the kids. The benches make it easy to sit back and relax and take in the nature.

Good park to do an easy trail right besides running water. Tons of open space to play games or set up a picnic. A well maintained playground and water park is available to keep the kids busy. Clean washrooms too.

Beautiful park to take the family. Big playground and has a water park. River runs along the side of it. Lots of covered picnic areas and a large open field. Always a busy yet fun place.

Wonderful playground (pretty unique) and water park for my kids, 4 and 2 years old.
Has many picnic tables, and a huge green lawn overlooking the playground. It doesn't matter what time I arrive - there is a spot available.
There is a horse farm right across the road, you can come close to it and see the horses, but it's not allowed to feed them.

Access to water stream, picnic area, dog park nearby and close to Wildplay, you cannot ask for more to spend a day

🗓(first) 🕒(time) there by 🚴 (bike) solo. I love this place, it's amzingly beautiful and peaceful. I most definitely enjoyed every moment and will definitely be going back.

My daughter loves coming here. It has a great playground. In the summertime there's a waterpark and she loves playing in the river on a hot day. Next summer we are going to ride floaties down the river. We come here quite often.
