Friendship Park

Play wonderful little playground ideally for kids under 5 years old. Lots of parking and close to the shops if you want to pick up lunch and have a picnic. Thanks to the Rotary Club for investing in building this space for the community. There's also, somewhat uniquely, an outdoor beach volleyball pit.

Thy most beautiful beach I have ever seen while vacationing but be careful the currents are rough and dangerous also grizzly bear with cubs warning around that area

Friendship park is a fairly large pebble beach area in Sechelt. There is a lot of space to stretch out and enjoy the summer days. During the BC long weekend we stopped by and found the area fairly empty, so we didn't have to worry about getting a spot to sit.

Very nice pier and beach. There is playground for kids. Remember bring your fishrod or crabbing gear

A great place to spend time with your family. There is a playground, ice cream shop and shops around. There is even a volleyball court.

Always an uplifting place to spend a hour or too. Very tranquil.

A small playground by a pebble beach strewn with driftwood logs. Ice cream cones available in the summer. A walkable seawall nearby, and a pier all year with summer swimming. A few blocks to the mall. Single stall bathrooms that are tended regularly. Beach volleyball court next to playground. Shade and a picnic bench.

The beach is comprised of smooth, medium sized, stones so tenderfoot swimmers may want to wear water shoes, however, the clean and brisk water made for a delightful swim.

Great walk to Snickett Park! Very easy if accessibility is a concern. It's a wee bit awkward walking right in front of the houses but the occupants don't seem to mind too much.

Beautiful seaside park and walk near the hospital when you need to get away. Wonderful.

Love this spot. One of the nicest things is disabled people can go there in there car and look out at the beach and the water. It is nice place to eat your lunch in the car. The beach is pebbles and a little steep. It is great for on leash dog walking .

No crab on this crabing area we spend like hour we ddnt catch single one

This is a great water front park with a nice pathway along the water.

The name says it all.
This park has dog walkers meet joggers along the beach to children playing, to parent's comparing notes, to tourists having ice cream. The pathways are flat and accessible. The bathroom building is painted with the history of many people who come from Sechelt's history.
