I ordered a canopy very last minute in hopes to have a cap before hunting season 🫣 Cap it pulled through for me so happy

If you’re buying accessories at the dealership think again. Dealing with Evan Bruce and the Cap-it Coquitlam team has been the most pleasant, easy, and positive experience I’ve ever had with any factory or aftermarket vehicle shop. I’ve been there twice now. Once for a hitch and the other for a tonneau cover. Both times the communication and punctuality of service was great. I dropped my truck off an hour early for its tonneau appointment and they started working on it immediately getting it finished just after the start time of my original appointment. Amazing!
Also when you call them a human answers immediately and is able to help your query right away. Stark contrast to the dealership experience of being put on hold and transferred around just to be told you’ll get a call back that never comes.

I installed a brake controller here and feel confidence with the service. They know what they doing and won't just rush to finish the job. I have a 2017 sienna se, and because is an se, it is different from other trim level. Extra part is need. They spend extra time to finish and still honor the quoted price. I chose the curt 51140 Triflex and it work well on my trailer e-brakes. Doug help me out with his professional advise. Thanks

Today I got a pair of offroad lights installed to my truck and my roof top tent taken off to be stored for the winter. The guys at the store got my lights hooked up in a timely fashion and helped out with loading my tent into the back of my truck. Great customer service! I will definitely be back for future services for my truck needs 👌

I booked an install with Evan for some lights to be added. I paid a deposit and scheduled the install but when I showed up they had no idea if the parts had arrived and I wasn't in their schedule. It turns out the parts hadn't arrived, they had no idea and hadn't thought to call me.

Despite me taking a half day off work to get the install completed, Evan didn't even think of offering to make things right. I finally asked him what he was going to make things right and the best he could do was say that we could "talk about removing the markup". Unbelievable. He wasn't willing to lose any money on the work despite costing me a half day of work.

The best opportunity a company has to show what they are made of is how they fix their mistakes. You can judge for yourself how much you think Evan and Cap It Coquitlam care about their customers.

Update: I try to support small businesses and decided to give them another try. I dealt with a different person there to get my truck canopy resealed. They did a good job but I had to bring it back. The second visit was a very positive experience. They fixed the one issue from the previous visit and went way above and beyond to fix some other issues that were only identified later and not their fault. I stand by my earlier comment that the best way to measure a business is how they fix problems and I am now a huge supporter of this location. I recommend them fully.

We went to buy roof top tent. All the staff were helpful and good services. We live in Richmond but it worth it to come all the way to Port Coquitlam Cap it.
Especially thanks for Doug, he has very generous services and Mandeep who taught us how to install and uninstall roof top tent. He taught us explain easy to understand.

The customer service is superb. They installed a brake controller 2 years ago, they spent 30 minutes looking at an issue that was my tent trailers issue, not theirs, shortly after that for no charge, then today reattached a wire that had come loose ( I probably cuased that) again for no charge.
I recommend these guys highly.

Been going to this Cap-It location since 2016, always feel welcomed when going in and treated great. I mainly deal with James, but have had the pleasure with dealing with other staff and the owner, all of them are very friendly, knowledgable, I go to them for all my accessories, repairs etc, I trust them, have come here several times for different things to be done to the truck, it's done to perfection and I'm a perfectionist and I have only good things to say about these guys! Highly recommend this location, will continue to do business with them and will continue to recommend them to others! Keep up the great work you guys! :D

I was gifted a BAK G2 tonneau cover for my truck ... but without the installation components. I called Cap-It and they were able to get the kit and also included two attachment pieces which come with the tonneau cover, not the install kit. They were super helpful and I am so grateful for the service ... even though it was likely their smallest sale of the day.

Great service! We had a brake controller issue for our trailer. all packed up and ready to go on a Saturday afternoon. for a week long holiday. Doug at CAP it, took us in last minute, as it turned out, the brand new controller that I purchased somewhere else, was defected . He got us back on the road safe, and he saved the beginning of our holiday. Thanks again.

Came to this location to avoid the drive to Abbotsford and happy i did they got the job done on my vehicle fast and were able to work with me on where I wanted to install the Electronic Brake Control which I didn’t get to choose on a previous vehicle at another location.

I went there to get something for my new truck, they didn't have what I had in mind (not sure if it even exist) but couple of guys who approached me were very informed and helpful. Few years back purchased something for my old truck and was very happy with their service then as well.

Went in looking for a ski rack that worked with my Thule crossbars and I was out the door within 10 mins with an awesome KUAT setup that works great. Super friendly staff and great experience. Thanks again.

Having been recommended Cap-It Coquitlam, I went along to them to get some work done on my truck at the beginning of the year. I was fully expecting a cost of around $150-200 for the work, but they told me it was something much smaller than originally expected & only ended up charging me $20 for a part & nothing for their work. Today I was needing to replace a broken part on my canopy, before heading away for work tomorrow. Not only did they have the part in stock, but for no charge Doug met me in North Van to save me the journey out to Coquitlam & back. They constantly go above & beyond expectations. Thank you
