We showed up at opening (8am) the morning after Daylight Savings Time (so an hour earlier than usual!) because we had a party of 14. They set up tables for us, so that we could sit together. Bruce is the best server we have ever had, and we specifically went today because we knew he was working. The food was amazing, as always. The kids and adults alike enjoyed their selections. The food is great, but the people are even better. This is the first time we didn't have to wait in line, but the normal line is 100% worth the wait. We've been coming for a few years, and will keep returning every time we visit from Vancouver Island. Thanks, BFPC!

Cozy little place with lots of windows and comfortable seating. The pancakes are delicious and everything is well prepared. Our wait for food was a little longer than expected. But overall it was a great experience I will return to for breakfast or lunch.

A great find in Port Coquitlam's Oxford Market. I saw a great selection of breakfast and lunch offerings. I enjoyed my breakfast and recommend.

This was our second day in a row here because it was sooo delicious yesterday. I liked our server from yesterday better (purple haired girl- I think her name was Tasha?) she was great. The food here is out of this world. It’s a cozy little hipster place, great music. Clean washrooms. If you show up and there is a line up, please stay, because I promise it’s worth the wait!

Not really pancake fan but this was wonderful, thinner and larger and filled with bits of apple and bacon. The cream cheese wasn't too sweet. The 11am sandwich was mouthfuls of yummy mixed flavors and textures. They were so accomodating making special food for the Baby 👶 who devoured the half waffle 🧇 made for her. Thank you for a lovely experience.
Back again for 1st Birthday, even better again, the fruit &whipped cream waffle was amazing.

Great experience all around. Loved the Playlist 😁 I had the "kinda like a cobbler" and would recommend 👌 get there early though because it closes at 2pm and it's quite a long wait for the food. I would come back

Honestly my favourite breakfast/brunch spot. This family run business is the best the moment you walk in the door you feel so welcomed and like you’re part of the family.

And then the food is to die for. Their feature menu is seasonal and there is always some fun new creation and also old favourites brought back. Everything is made fresh and the portion sizes are great. You definitely need to wear you stretchy pants when you go as you’ll be leaving stuffed and ready for a nap.

They are open for take out during the current situation as they don’t have a patio for outdoor seating. So definitely give it a try and support your local businesses.

We went there today for the first time after just learning about this place the week before. It's a super cute place, kind of tucked away behind some other businesses. Our wait wasn't that long either (we got there about 10am on a Sunday).

Loved the vibe and decor. Definitely not as big a place as I would've thought it to be, so that actually made it more cozy. Our server, Bruce, was AMAZING! So personable, he had us laughing and enjoying our experience there even more. I asked about his tattoo's because they reminded me of kids drawings and he said that they actually are his kids' artwork - LOVE that!!

The food was delicious, too! Between the yummy food, the cozy atmosphere and the amazing server we had, we can't wait to come back again! We will surely tell everyone we know about this place and come back often, ourselves.

We have been going here to The Big Flat Pancake for over a year now and this is one of our favorite places to go. The food has always been delicious, no complaints.
They have gotten to know us and what we like to eat and what we can’t so Bruce lets all the servers know immediately.
The Big Flat Crunch granola bowl is to die for and there is no skimping on the fruit. Cheese omelette is so flavourful, the little breakfast just the right size for me. Our friends have the Benny and there has never been one complaint from any of them and that is a good sign as sometimes it can be a hit or a miss with Benny’s.
Atmosphere is really good, love the music - my era of course.
We have never had one bad server here though we mostly have Shona and she shows us that she is interested in getting updates from us. We’ve also had Sean on the odd occasion and even Bruce has served us and I don’t quite understand the reviews that have given them a 1 - luckily there are not many of them (2).
We make allowances for the wait time to get in because of the food and the people.
One review I read compared it to International House of Pancakes - WHAT - I’m sorry as much as I like IHOP there is no comparison to this restaurant.
Overall their prices are the same as every other breakfast restaurant as prices have increased everywhere but I feel that here we walk out talking about the food we had and the people we met.

The food, the customer service and the ambiance is all what brings people back to this brunch place time and again.
Long line ups during the limited hours of operation but its worth the wait. Like any other brunch place they also have choice of hot and cold drinks along with bowls, omelettes, pancakes and waffles .

Many sides like fruits, salads, potatoes and small kids meals are also available.

Vegetarians should not get dishearten as they have options for vegetarians as well.

Amazing food, Great service.
It takes a while to get your food but Well worth the wait , it takes a while because the restaurant is always full.

The Big Flat Pancake Co is 8 mins drive from my house. It's a small breakfast/brunch restaurant, owned by the local family. Excellent service and food. My husband and I always have our weekend brunch at this place. We always got there early when it just opened to avoid the hug line up.

Inside the restaurant is nice and clean. Mostly small tables are for 2 or 4 people. If you have a large group, I would like to recommend to come as early as possible. The restaurant doesn't take any reservation. First come first serve.

Both my husband and I always ordered the same food from this place. We ordered holiday and seasonal specials sometimes too. My husband's favorite is Bananarama, which made by a mound of diced banana topped with toffee chips and toasted coconut, smothered in caramel sauce, served with fresh whipped cream on side. Sounds so sweet. For me, my most favorite dish is the Benny's gone fishing: Nanhuk smoked salmon piled high, poached eggs and creamy hollandaise on grilled English muffins served with rustic hashbrowns and fresh fruit. The food is fresh and well cooked.

Even through the prices of the food are little bit high, they are very tasty and totally worth the prices. I would like to highly recommend this place.

The things they say about the Big Flat Pancake Co. in Port Coquitlam are true! Delicious and had a nice family vibe to it. We got there at around 1030 am on a Monday and were seated right away. A few minutes later, all the tables were filled and there was a wait!

My friend and I shared this Monster Breakfast (3 eggs, 4 kinds of meat, potatoes, tomatoes, toast, fruit) and then the Big Flat King Kong (bananas, nutella on whipped cream on the delicious big flat pancake)!

The absolute BEST place for breakfast! Good quality food, feature seasonal menus (Bring back Maple Tots) and the most amazing people who run it!

BFPC has delicious food, many options on the menu, and their service is awesome. Our server, Bruce, was so entertaining and fun to banter with! I could see all of the employees working hard to shorten the wait time and invest in the customer’s dining experience.

I ordered the Louis and Clarke Benny, with the avocado on the side. My egg was cooked to perfection, along with the crispy hash browns on the side.

I will definitely be coming back here in the future!

Great place for breakfast and brunch. Beats the more popular local places like Cora and Pur & Simple. Hospitality and service is totally outstanding and first class. Food quality is high and tasty and flavourful. Highly recommended.

Great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Friendly staff. Tried the Ham Hash, Hipster hash, and Jean Pierre benny( the rast beef was so tender and flavourful)

Be prepared for a line up if you don’t go in early in the morning. 12pm weekdays seem less busy.
