A couple of friends brought me here for the first time. They explained that it used to be a fire station that got converted into a brewery, and now a restaurant. For this reason, the ceilings were very high which made the place feel a lot more open.

Our server was super super friendly! Made all of us feel welcome, and was also very attentive to our needs.

The Rancho burger I had tasted great -- especially with the fresh bacon. All the ingredients were fresh (i.e. tomato, lettuce, and onion), and there were sautéed onions as well. The cheese was well melted onto the patty. Lastly, I had a $5 Caesar, which was the Sunday special. That went very well with the burger.

Cost was $18 (including fries), so a tad on the pricey side, but I'd say it was still worth it.

Great food, always great service. Good atmosphere. Front Patio. Only negative would be limited parking at back of building.

My wife and I recently dined at the expanded Homestead Pub, which is a must-visit for those in search of comforting food, an extensive drink selection, live music performances, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our visit did not disappoint.

Upon our arrival, the Pub was bustling with happy customers, yet we were pleasantly surprised to be seated promptly. The staff efficiently juggled their duties while engaging in friendly conversations and maintaining cheerful smiles. The Pub boasts an impressive array of craft beers and cocktails, a true paradise for beer enthusiasts. The cocktails were expertly crafted to complement the diverse range of flavours on the menu, catering to various tastes.

Homestead's menu features both classic pub favourites and inventive modern dishes. The stuffed potato sticks, bursting with a delightful explosion of flavours and textures, left us craving more. The generous portions make them ideal for sharing or indulging solo.

The spacious layout includes multiple large televisions with a variety of programming. Additionally, a professionally equipped music stage is a highlight, whether you're watching a performance or taking the stage yourself. Homestead Pub is a versatile space that caters to a wide audience and is not to be underestimated. It offers something for everyone and is sure to leave a lasting impression. In sum, I would rank it among my top restaurant choices in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

Popped in last night with a group to see our favourite band! Great atmosphere and nice patio. Simon was an awesome server, and the chips were homemade and with the perfect amount of salt! Will be back soon!

Very friendly pub! Appetizers and dishes are much bigger than I expected. The smocked meat poutine is excellent. Service is quick and guys working there are great. If one day, I come again to Embrun, I will go back there for sure, especially if a band is playing this evening in the pub.

This was such a great little patio on a warm spring evening!

Clean seating areas and very pleasant wait staff.

The menu was quite varied, seemingly with options for anyone. Quite a nice drink menu as well, with some tasty cocktails listed!

Holy cow. I can’t believe it’s taken us so long to dine in. BEST CLUB SANDWICH I’VE EVER HAD. The vibe was amazing, friendly, CLEAN and the beer was cold and bubbly.

Good food, although the wings pound it is not a pound it is way less, they are good! The atmosphere is that we liked the most!

Went on Friday for lunch with the opening of their new location.
The food was delicious and hot, delicious meal. The service was excellent with Trish and seeing Dan in his glory.
I highly recommend the pub, you won’t be disappointed.

Great food and a good selection of brew. Service was on point. It’s one of the only place open around 2pm In this area (embrun) will definitely be back here soon.

Had a delicious meal with my son, daughter in law and granddaughter. The food was served nice and hot, delicious and well presented. The desert was a chocolate lava cake with baileys, soooo good. The service was great. Thanks for a wonderful time
