Verville's Flowers

I ordered an arrangement in the Stanley cup for my granddaughter as she had a real rough week. The lady that answered the phone was very pleasant. The flowers were beautiful and fresh. It has been 10 days and my granddaughter said they are still beautiful! I was very pleased with service and quality of the arrangement!

Service above & Beyond - I messed up and missed a Birthday - called last minute for an out of town delivery - and they came thru !!! Been buying here for years - product and service is over the top!

Verville's Flowers is the best choice for flowers in upstate NY. I have been a customer of Verville's and Rachel's for years and regularly send and receive arrangements that are ALWAYS the freshest, most beautifully arranged, long-lasting flowers....and most times I just say here's what I want to spend, make something beautiful please, and she never disappoints. As recently as September 12, 2020 I sent my mother birthday flowers which consisted of beautiful garden roses, hydrangeas and many others that even today, October 1, 2020, some of the flowers are still looking beautiful in a vase on her counter. that's three weeks later and still looking good! Verville's always goes the extra mile to make sure everything that goes out the door of the shop is quality, fresh, beautiful...and if she wouldn't give it to her own family, she won't give it to yours. Most owners aren't the ones doing the day-to-day ordering/arranging/delivering themselves and she does it all with a friendly voice on the other end of the phone and a smile at the door when you open to see her delivering your perfect posies!

I am impressed with the customer service and quality of the flowers I received from Verville's that I ordered for my wife. This was a last minute unexpected surprise and the owner was more than happy to accommodate my wants and needs. She made a gorgeous bouquet with a wonderful card attached. Thanks again Verville's!!

I received the most beautiful bouquet from my husband and such a beautiful shop owner hand delivered them to my front door (not many owners do the “grunt” work). Smiling with flowers in hand, I was so happy to accept them as it was very unexpected of my husband to send me flowers...it wasn’t our anniversary or anything so I mean who wouldn’t be in awe? They were GORGEOUS!! The most beautiful arrangement with the freshest loveliest smelling flowers, as if they were cut that day from someones garden! Our small town is lucky to have this location!!!

Absolutely beautiful flowers and arrangements. Rachael was pleasant and conversational, making the process accommodating and delightful. The arrangement was perfectly put together with a beautiful blue mason jar and burlap bow. Will be returning!

Nice neighborhood florist

Rachel was very friendly with I spoke with her on a Monday concerning flowers for Thursday funeral calling and service. Her price point for stand was $175 without tax, delivery, etc. I decided instead to have vase arrangement (at $150 with total amount of $168.48), which could be shared later at church or given to nursing home for their enjoyment. Talking with funeral home representative I was told that a vase arrangement of flowers could not go graveside and that due to Covid the vase arrangement could not remain in church nor could go to nursing home. At that point I called Vervilles (all this on a Monday...service and calling not until Thursday so plenty of time for changes and ordering) and we decided on what would be lovely peace lily basket arrangement with incorporation of yellow roses and greenery, which due to expense of basket, greenery and design of same would stay at same price point. I ended up in a less than acceptable peace lily (no white peace lily flowers as you would expect from florist at my price point), with dying, yellowish-green leaf containing two dead, brown spots. This plant was put not into a basket, but into a cheap blackish appearance, plastic pot. The peace lily container itself was prominently visible at container level with exposed dirt showing. There was no moss, ivy or barrier of any kind to hide the container rim at top of pot. The small ribbon/bow was cut straight across leaving unsightly ribbon edges that anyone could cut. It was not the angled ribbon cut used in floral designs. The were only a few very small pieces
of pieces of fern sparingly placed in pot. I never would have agreed to a cheap plastic pot arrangement. The arrangement as discussed should have been the lovely basket presentation. At a time in which I so desired to honor the life of a most lovely lady, a former school teacher, and a beloved family member with beautiful floral arrangement, I was given sadly designed yellow roses, less than acceptable peace lily and a few pieces of fern in a plastic pot which I had not approved. I was totally embarrassed, humiliated and hurt at the presentation. It was an even further disappointment to speak with Rachel, find out she was the owner, and to discover it was she who had “designed” this arrangement. I was surprised and further hurt by the defensiveness as she claimed the arrangement would not have looked right in the basket she had, so she decided to put it in the pot. The pot was a cheap plastic pot I could have purchased at a low end department store for tops of 9.99, the peace lily was less than grocery store, hardware store quality, aesthetic eye appeal of container and dirt showing at top of pot remains unacceptable, the communication of having my approval to switch from basket design to pot was non existent, the ribbon ends lacked floral angled cut and my last name on card was done incorrectly. Needless to say, an injustice was done at final cost of $160.48. It was an embarrassment to me and a disrespect for my loved one.
