Lake George Provincial Park

Lake George is by far my favorite local spot to go swimming! There's a section of sand or lots of grass to lay on! There are outhouses and change rooms as well as a boat launch with a sectioned area for swimming! Closer to the buoys is deeper as well as it's deeper on the left side of the lake when facing the water!

The day I went there were no children running around screaming hooting and hollering and there were no barking dogs. There were young people there but they were all very well behaved. Also the water was very ice cream cold! I do not recommend swimming if you have any fear of lost body parts. Lol rolling over laughing my butt off. It also wasn't too hot that day so it was great and we got to see some ducky swimming around

A nice quiet spot to enjoy a cold drink and take a quick dip. Water isn't too deep so it's good for younger ones still learning how to swim.

Love it. Dogs on leashes welcome. Its big enough to space out even when semi busy. There are changing rooms, garbage cans available and 2 picnic tables

Beautiful spot for the family or just to relax on the water. Boaters are friendly an slow down for the people swimming an kayaking

Great place. Clean and a gradual and shallow walk out to the perimeter of the swimming area. No shells to cut your feet on either. The kids love the ducks that randomly swim past, and there's always other families with kids there as well. We love it as parents because the course sand beach isn't large...because it's mostly grass up to the water, which means the kids aren't covered in sand which would otherwise track into the car, our house, their bed, our bed...

Was a insane loud and pleasant peaceful experience. The sound of children playing once again was fantastic. Had great company. Was my first and Definitely not last time to visit. Very clean area lotsof parking 👌

So nice and warm ! Shallow enough to go out far , family friendly but not supervised so swim at your own risk

Great spot for a family swim. Changing rooms and outhouses on site. Also a boat launch separate from swimming area. Pet friendly just have to be on leash.

I am a drywall contractor so I get to meet some of the local people.very friendly community and a great place to swim and BBQ.

Nice swimming beach. Grassy area with a smooth sand entry to the water. Outhouses and change rooms available.

Make sure you don't forget to bring your medieval armor and chainsaws for the murder derby. Todays forecast is cloudy with an 80% chance of raining blood.

Great place to go paddleboarding! Some boat traffic so be prepared for wake.
