Guelph Oral Surgery

I was really limited in the dates I could have had my surgery, and my surgeon was very arranging and gave me a surgery date that matched my busy schedule. Everything was explained before the surgery so I was well prepared. Came the day of the surgery, and everyone was on top of it. The medical team was on time and made me comfortable. I highly recommend being treated by them.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The entire process was seamless. The procedure was far less daunting than I anticipated, thanks to the expertise and reassurance of my oral surgeon. Recovery was also swift, with minimal discomfort, which speaks volumes about the care and precision taken during the procedure. Shoutout to the incredible and supportive staff as well. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone!

This has been the best place to go for surgery. This is my first dental surgery in Canada, but it has been really good. I was really scared and nervous but the nurse and the doctor really helped me calm. Specially Jennifer, was really helpful and friendly. She was there throughout the process and made me aware about everything I needed to know about the surgery and further information about the precautions and medications that I needed. Really grateful to have found this clinic and got surgery date before it got late. Thank you the entire team :)

I had my two bottom wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Mobini. He is very professional and amazing at what he is doing. He explained the procedure and walked me through each step as he extracted my teeth. The staff was outstanding and walked me through the entire process before, during, and after. Very courteous, friendly, and accommodating! Dr.Mobini did a phenomenal job, and I really appreciated his check-in call after surgery. Believe it or not, I was in and out within 30 minutes. ( I had a really horrible experience with my upper wisdom teeth removal at a different clinic in Toronto, where it took more than 3 hours to extract my teeth while I was awake. I waited 5 years to remove the other two due to the previous trauma. They responded nearly instantly, and I'm pleased to say that the healing has been proceeding well. I strongly recommend this team to anyone, especially those who are afraid of the dentist!

I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for over fifteen years because at least a one of them was impacted and another was real close to a nerve. Y’all know what? They did such a good job I didn’t need painkillers after. I was on plain old advil by day 2. There was no bruising, barely any swelling. I was treated with kindness and respect by the surgeon and the anesthesiologist deserves a GOLD MEDAL. What a lovely bunch of people doing really incredible work

Had all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth removed here by Dr. Mobini and everything went great! He even called the next day to check in. Was in and out in around an hour and had no issues with recovery. The anesthesiologist was super kind and funny which helped to reduce a lot of my anxiety. Also had no bruising and hardly any swelling. Highly recommend!

I got my lower wisdom teeth removed last Thursday. Absolutely amazing staff who guided me through the process before, during, and after. Incredibly respectful, kind, and accommodating! They answer almost immediately and I'm happy to say the healing has been going great. I expected a lot of pain and misery, but I haven't had any issues. Incredibly glad my first experience was done so incredibly well :) Thank you!!

Dr. Shamji was wonderful. Very kind and thorough. I must say the nurse and assistant(?) was beyond amazing and made the whole wisdom teeth removal experience as good as the situation could be. I had a reaction to the anesthesia when I woke and they were right by my side helping me until I was able to get into the car safely. I felt in very good hands and would recommend them.

The nurse made me feel incredibly comfortable going into my surgery. I was really nervous about getting an IV for the first time but she was swift and gentle; communicating everything with me as well. I didn’t see the doctor much at all before being sedated. I felt well taken care of and appreciate everyone’s hospitality.

The staff were all very nice and helped me feel like I was in good hands. I was super nervous as I’ve never had a tooth extracted before and they all really helped me remain calm! I’d definitely recommend!

I needed a tooth removed as it was cracking. Guelph Oral Surgery in Kitchener managed to get me the day they called. I had a completely pain free extraction. It healed rapidly. It was a very good experience all round.

Very smooth experience! Was very concerned as I had a tooth needing to be extracted and my regular dentist was not optimistic, as I had limited mouth movement with swelling.

Not the case here, Dr Omar Shamji provided confidence in this procedure and the nurse whom helped set up the process was excellent and calming. Process was way better than expected, and am happy to be now recovering from the procedure.

Just note, they are not compassionate on billing, regardless of your insurance situation.

But still giving 5 stars, as I would certainly come back if a similar issue arises, and would 100% recommend to anyone, especially if you have any concern, anxiety or fear.

Places is awesome sucks to go have to get dental surgery but if you’re gonna go anywhere this is the place to go staff is courteous dental surgeons are incredible and really know what they’re doing. My recovery was quick and everything worked out extremely well. Both doctors are awesome but Dr. Mobini Was my doctor and the guy is irreplaceable. Thank you for all the great work.

Efficient and courteous! Amazing service, above and beyond for sure. We received a phone call to book a consult same day as referral and booked surgery the day of consult. After surgery we received a follow up phone call to see how things were healing. Amazing!

Good experience….on time, quoted price was the actual price, (no add ons) professional and friendly front staff, surgeon explained procedure before doing it, oral surgeon Dr. Omar Samji was excellent and friendly, pamphlet information was informative and I appreciated the follow up call the following day.
Would highly recommend this oral surgery office.

I was very nervous about my molar extraction because my tooth cracked in half leaving most of the one root imbedded below the bone line with nothing to grab onto. Dr, Mobini had everything out in less than 5 minutes in such a clean way that I didn't even need any pain meds afterwards at all. Also the ladies up front as well as the assistants were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the folks at Waterloo oral surgery. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Cooperband and the team - great experience and healing well so far after about a week post-op. Felt a bit rushed during my consultation but I understand Dr. Cooperband is a busy man and he did answer all my questions. I also wish the team had my partner fill the prescription for the pain medications before they released me as I had to wait about 20 mins in the car afterwards instead of going straight to the comforts of home. However, the team did provide a great post-op package with clear written instructions and materials needed for recovery e.g., gauze, syringe for rinsing, etc. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to get some dental work done!

Dr. Mobini is a very pleasant professional who is direct, efficient and caring. The follow up phone call regarding the extraction was a surprise but much appreciated. The staff members are a pleasure to work with and are most helpful.
I would highly recommend Dr. Mobini.
