I've camped there many times and I was quite satisfied. They have a large sandy beach with many things to do. I fully recommend Oka.

OKA Beach, nestled along the scenic shores, presents a unique blend of family-friendly and nudist sections, catering to a diverse crowd seeking sun-soaked relaxation. The family area is a haven for those with children, featuring soft sands and calm waters, making it an ideal spot for building sandcastles or enjoying a leisurely swim. The beachgoers here create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, emphasizing a communal appreciation for the sun and surf.

However, it's crucial for parents to exercise caution when venturing near the nudist section. While the nudist area is clearly demarcated, some families may find it necessary to set clear boundaries to ensure a comfortable experience for all. Communication is key, and a respectful coexistence between different beachgoers is typically observed, making the transition between the two areas smooth and unintrusive.

The picturesque surroundings of OKA Beach contribute to its allure, with lush greenery and a refreshing breeze providing a tranquil backdrop. Families can relish in the beauty of nature while enjoying the amenities offered in the family section, such as shaded picnic areas and well-maintained facilities. The beach management's efforts to maintain cleanliness and order contribute to an overall positive experience.

In conclusion, OKA Beach offers a diverse and inclusive environment, making it suitable for various preferences. Families can appreciate the family-friendly section's amenities and atmosphere, while those seeking a clothing-optional experience can comfortably enjoy the designated nudist area. With proper communication and mutual respect, OKA Beach stands as a versatile destination where everyone can find their own slice of beachside paradise.

Nice fully serviced campsites, fairly private from one another as well. Beautiful beach that can be crowded on weekends but lots of room and nice white sand, water was warm too. Bathrooms had good hot water and were new and clean, albeit sandy by the end of the day. Water is drinkable, some areas allow dogs, some don’t. Decent camp store with camping supplies and basic foodstuffs. Washing machines on site as well.

beautiful location... unfortunately this year due to the forest fires our week was plagued with thunderstorms and rain. but enjoyed the week regardless! the ferry ride in is quick.. and about 10 dollars per car. the beach is also quite busy after 12pm. so try and get there earlier. enjoy

There are two parts to OKA...a campground that includes a beach area and a hiking trail along the Oka Mountain. If you follow route 344 towards Oka (in the direction TO the ferry across the Ottawa river) then the campground is to the left (on Chemin des Collines) while the hiking trail is to the right on Chemin du Calvaire. The two streets form a "+" intersection. We visited the hiking trail so our review is related to that part of Oka only. OKA is about 30-40 minutes by car north west of Montreal...about 10 minutes west of St. Eustache on route 344 and bordering the north side of the Ottawa river.

There is a FEE to access the hiking trail. It is on a per person basis ($9.95 for adults and a bit less for youths). There is a fairly large parking lot so it should not be an issue unless on a peak, warm summer day (we visited in mid-November in the morning and it was relatively quiet). The trail essential follows a circuitous route around the mountain with a trail to the peak that has a nice overlook of Oka park towards the campground and river. The total circuit is about 6km in total with assorted interconnecting trails. Overall it is a beginner-intermediate trail with a few steep inclined route but otherwise fairly simple. Overall its a nice park that is relatively close to the city and worthy of a visit. Enjoy!

Honestly one of the best campsites I've been to, and I've been to quite a few. I stayed at a site in the Dunes that had both potable water and electricity, and it was wonderful. Very close to the beach, can easily walk from most campsites. Sites are rocky so it does not get muddy when it rains, with sandier sections to pitch tents so that you are not sleeping on rocks. Close to Montreal, making it easy to access, but still far enough that the proximity is not an issue.

Beautiful beach 🏝 with many people diversity and activities. Besides, washrooms, showers 🚿, and service center. We were visiting from Toronto and surprised how Quebec government is taking care of this kind of parks and natural resources. We had really good swim in a warm water. The lake water was not clear and we has some skins cuts from mussels. For sure we are going to visit this park next year, inshallah 🙏🏽

Wonderful park, very big. Lots of camping spots. Sites are under tall trees, so there's plenty of space below, and lots of shade provided by the trees. Beach was great. Lots of space to find a spot on the sand and in the water.

The beach and the water were clean, plenty of space and picnic tables. The shallow water was perfect for my kids to play. Bathrooms were in good condition too.

An amazing place to chill out with friends and family, both moods are allowed, party party and family time. If you want to spend the entire day, arrive early, come with an umbrella and chairs if you go to the beach side, the food is too expensive but everybody knows that, so bring your own snacks and drinks out of that the place is amazing

This time I came for camping with a tent. They have pretty spacious spots and not too crowded providing some privacy. Infrastructure is great, toilets and showers very clean. Already came other 2 times for a ready-to-camp and loved it as well, very well equipped. Will certainly come back.

Literally the best beach I have ever been to. I did the paddle boarding and the water activity there as well and it was so fun. They have a cafe and the food there was very good and not too too expensive, I definitely recommend this place the sand is so perfect and the water was the perfect temperature even though it was quite cold outside.

We went there on a first weekend of September, the weather was awesome, not very crowded
lots of parking spots available. You can rent a pedal boat or kayak either 1 or 2 person between &20 to $30 for an hour. There are some other activities in the beach we didn’t try. All in all was a good experience.

Nice facilities and beach is not too crowded! We went to BBQ for a friend's birthday and had a great time. The water was a bit dirty however, don't go with a pale swimsuit unless you want it a few shades darker when you get back 😂
