Stripped Wax Bar - Port Moody

I’ve been going to Stripped since 2017, never been to anywhere else since then. For the last 2ish years, I’ve been seeing Sam. She is so professional, caring and understanding. She always does an amazing job and makes sure i am doing well. Everyone in there are so friendly and welcoming. Never had a bad experience. Waxing is not something I look forward to but Stripped Port Moody team is making it easier :)

No matter who I see or what area I get waxed at Stripped- Port Moody I am always super happy and satisfied. My skin can be a bit sensitive and there have never been any issues post-wax with Stripped. 10/10 would recommend. Plus, everyone there is super friendly and easy to talk to.

Google maps took me to the other side of the building, so I was initially confused. They are actually on the same street, but on the other side from the dog bakery.
The ladies here sometimes work at other locations, but the ones I've met are pleasant, personable, and professional. I'll gladly go here or to the Willingdon and Lougheed location.

This wax bar is fantastic. The entire place is exceptionally clean and sanitary, the staff are friendly and professional, and I always feel comfortable. I have been coming here for years and will be returning again and again!

Every time I go to the Port Moody location they are very friendly. Sam is absolutely amazing at her job! She is kind, caring and makes the wax feel a lot less painful.

Kerrie was excellent. Great facilities in a cute little complex. Will become a regular for my Brazilians!

I would recommend this place to anyone! I see Alejandra and she is so quick, makes you feel comfortable, and does a fantastic job. I must say the least painful waxing experience I have had (subjective I know). I have tried many places and this by far is the best. Very clean, reasonably priced, and fast.

this is the best place to get brazillians! i've tried many other places around but everytime i stray from them i regret it. it's so clean and professional and the decor and staff are lovely! i also use their products all the time, especially the mini kit. it's a little pricier than other places but so worth it for the atmosphere and how comfortable the appointments are! highly highly recommended!

I just got brazillian by Kerrie. She is very kind, made me very relaxed and brightened my day start. + Of course her skill was amazing! Quick, efficient, barely painful, detailed as well. I love this place💗💗

I’ve been getting waxed at Stripped Port Moody for many years now, and it’s always been a good experience. Of course I have my favourite girl (Celine) but I’m happy to see the other staff when she is unavailable, as they all provide the same level of care. There is never any judgment from staff- they have seen it all so don’t be shy!

Last year I noticed via the Stripped Instagram page that they do training sessions where a senior technician is paired with a new employee, and they will wax you at no charge (as part of the training process). Let me just say, listening to the senior staffs patience and kindness as they teach the new staff is wonderful. They are very attentive and make sure both trainee and client are comfortable, and are ready and prepared to answer all questions.

They serve everyone, so if you have hair you want gone, give them a call!

I feel like any of the ratings that are under five are completely inaccurate to the experience I had here! the staff and store was professional and clean and super friendly! I had expressed that I had a horrible experience with waxing before and they did everything to make me feel comfortable.

I had Shannon for a Brazilian and she was absolutely brilliant! She was quick and professional, and kept me talking the entire time to keep me distracted. She was fast but I never at one point felt like I was being rushed.

She was very knowledgeable in after care as well... if your concerned about sensitive skin UPGRADE TO HARD WAX. Seriously was such an easy and fun experience! Ten stars!
