I had the most amazing experience with lunch service at Bloom. The welcome and settings were comfortable and with ease. This is a two or three course option and we selected three. There are three to four options in each course and our selections of salmon and Cornish hen were both perfection. I found the flavours, temperature, the cardamom cheesecake and the ambience were all fine dining-esque and I can't wait to return again. Bravo Bloom! Cheers, Spicy Jan

I absolutely adore this place! The food and drinks here are great! What's even better is that they switch up their menu every term, so there's always something new and exciting to try, which I absolutely love! Plus, the restaurant itself is stunning. It's got that whole fancy restaurant vibe going on, and you'd never guess it's inside a college.

That being said, everyone is still learning, so be nice and supportive! The guy who oversees the students is a real gem too, always keeping an eye out and being super attentive.

As for my go-to orders, anything with flank steak or chicken is hands down my favorite. About the prices, it's typically around $30 to $33. So, it's pretty budget-friendly for the quality you're getting!

Excellent restaurant. Really appreciate this college is providing opportunities to its students to cook and serve. As the customer I really enjoy the high quality food and the great service. Ever thought everything is yummy, i highly recommend their deserts.

Food is always amazing, the prices are extremely low for the amount and quality of food you get, and it helps students who are learning during their program. It's a solid and clean place, and I will keep going back every semester as they change their menu for each term!

It was a wonderful dining experience. The dishes are well curated and very flavourful. I was pleasantly surprised that the portions were sizeable compared to most fine dining experiences. I had the calamari fritter, the duck, and the profiterole with plumb ice cream. The service was also great - I would highly recommend it!

(Full disclosure, I work at Conestoga College, but do not work in the Food departments).

I ordered some Shakshuka and was amazed at how perfect the eggs were cooked. The eggs were poached 100% soft with not a hint of coagulation that would surely happen if I tried to cook the recipe myself. I was super impressed.

For the price, you cannot really beat Bloom. The only suggestion I have is to make sure you are not in a rush if you decide to eat in. Students are there to learn the ropes and part of the ropes is making mistakes (which can mean delays in service).

A hidden gem! This resto is run by the culinary students at Conestoga College. Located at their Waterloo campus, the professor is nearby to assist the servers with presentation and people management. There's a limited menu but they lean into doing a few items really well. Fresh ingredients, French - American fusion, mouth watering desserts!

Our group of 10 had dinner at Bloom last night, which was the first night I believe for this semester of students. While there were service issues during previous visits, this time the service was impeccable. The quality of the food is always fantastic, a great value, and last night was no exception. Everybody was extremely impressed with their meal! A snafu with the reservation was more than made up for by the extremely personable and generous manager. Compliments to the students and the manager - and we will be back for sure!

My wife and I went to Bloom to celebrate our anniversary. We didn’t know what to expect, but found it to be a special evening. Our waiter was a brand new student and was learning how to service the guests. He made some mistakes but everyone was in good humour. There was an instructor present who gently guided the students. We were surprised with a special anniversary dessert. The food was very good and well presented.

Our local Business Association recently had dinner at Bloom and we were thrilled with the great food and service we were provided. Thumbs up to Conestoga College and their Culinary Program for training their students to such a high standard of efficiency and determination to make our dinner arrangements so memorable. Please keep up the good work and we look forward to the new building and venue that you will move into.

Hosted an event in the space. Its beautiful. Go there for lunch or dinner so the students can amaze you with their talent.

Extremely amazing experience. Feeling of Godfather trinity environment with Olive oil on breads. Friendly chef and staff. Overall cozy place to sit and dine.

This is indeed the best deal for good food in Kitchener/Waterloo. Connestoga College Cullinary Program can use me as a guinea pig any time. $25 for a three course meal that was on par with any of the higher end (and MUCH more expensive) eats in K/W.

Outstanding food and service, highly recommend.
