One of the best restaurants to dine at in Montreal and it’s located on the West Island. Ample Parking. Our table was waiting for us when we arrived before 19h00. Staff provided menu’s that are available in English & French; filled our water glasses and did not “Hover” while we decided on a before dinner drink and the appetizers we wanted to start with. Although no nightly specials, which aren’t necessary; our waiter took the time to describe the various dishes we inquired about to help us with our selection. We started with the Fatouche Salad, Grilled Octopus & Grilled Cauliflower that were all wonderfully prepared & very tasty. We were so pre-occupied with our starters &!drinks we forgot about ordering our “Mains”! Our Waiter happily appeared while we were 1/2 way finished with the starters and our orders were placed. The Chicken Kebab Platters were ordered as well as the Beef (minced) Kebab Platter and a side order of their French Fries that are not to be overlooked. Tasty, Delicious and Exceptionally prepared is how you will enjoy these mains if you share. Bright, Airy with a “Vibrant” noise level from the other diners who were there. But the tables are not “on-top” of each other where at some establishments you literally “Rub Elbows” with the diners at the next table. Thanks to Ricky & His Staff who all helped make this evenings dining a really memorable experience @ all for the right reasons! Definitely on our list for many return visits.

Aya Lebanese Restaurant is an absolute gem in Montreal, especially for those seeking incredible vegetarian options. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed by the ambiance and the staff, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the personal touch provided by the owner, Maurice.

The vegetarian entrée options at Aya are simply amazing. Each dish is crafted with care, bursting with authentic flavors that transport you straight to Lebanon. We started with a variety of appetizers, and every bite was a delightful surprise of rich and fresh ingredients.

Maurice went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. He personally ensured that our main courses were tailored to our preferences, creating the most delicious falafel I've ever tasted and a wonderfully flavorful okra rice dish. It was clear that he takes immense pride in his restaurant, and his passion for serving high-quality, authentic Lebanese food shone through in every detail.

The combination of outstanding food, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere makes Aya Lebanese Restaurant a must-visit. Whether you're a vegetarian or just love good food, I can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely be returning to experience more of Maurice's culinary magic!

Found this restaurant via Google and it was a really great find
Salads, sides, falafel and potatoes were amazing
Chicken a little dry but so impressed with the home-made bread going around
Would have been nice to have little free olives/ turnips/pickles and mints at the end but overall amazing service and overall food was delicious and not overly oily at all

Muhammara had a cheese taste so not to my liking but my partner really liked it

Exquisite Lebanese Dining Experience at Aya Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aya Restaurant and was simply blown away by the exceptional Lebanese culinary experience it offered.

From the moment I walked in, I was transported into an atmosphere of authentic Middle Eastern charm, which set the perfect tone for the dining experience to come.

The food was nothing short of amazing. Each dish showcased a perfect balance of traditional Lebanese flavors, prepared with great care and an obvious passion for quality. From the beautifully spiced mezzes to the tenderly cooked meats and delectable desserts, every course was a testament to the skill and dedication of the chef. It was evident that every dish was prepared with high-quality ingredients, each lending its unique flavor profile to create a harmonious symphony of tastes.

Service at Aya Restaurant also deserves special mention. The staff was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was comfortable, personalized, and above all, memorable.

Whether you're a fan of Lebanese food or just a food enthusiast looking to explore new cuisines, I can't recommend Aya Restaurant enough. It’s a perfect place to experience the rich tapestry of Lebanese cuisine, all in a warm and inviting setting.

Five out of five stars for Aya Restaurant. I can't wait for my next visit!

Thank you Ricky & Maurice

You want to have a great experience? You have got to try Aya's.
The food is amazing, fresh and authentic. Our waitress Heba was friendly and on point!!! Along with everyone on the floor doing the service.
Their Crème brûlée with rose water is to die for. There is not one thing we didn't enjoy or totally drooled over! Highly recommend.

Not only is it the best Lebanese restaurant in Montreal or Laval (I’m a Lebanese foodie!), Aya probably has one of the most gorgeous dining rooms I’ve seen in town! The food is such high quality, the staff so attentive and the venue so stunning and grandiose that we hosted our wedding reception there in June 2023 - and it was a hit! If you know authentic Lebanese food, you’ll know that the chef perfectly prepares all the mezze & dishes, including all the delicate flavours from Lebanon (please don’t compare to Lebanese fast food). Maurice, the owner, is a terrific and super friendly man. Aya has become our go-to for delicious Lebanese food and I highly recommend it for all your events if you want to impress your guests!

I had such a great time at Aya. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Now a days I feel like restaurants pressure you to leave when you're done eating. That was not the case here! The Amaretto sour wasn't the best. The food was very tasty though and the Shish Taouk had a perfect texture.

Five stars all around for this stunning restaurant that offers a broad selection of vegan menu options. Since restaurants that cater to vegans are few and far between, it was absolutely thrilling to find one that not only provides an amazing choice of delicious dishes, but one whose decor is creative and exciting...with a downtown vibe. Service is warm and welcoming and our friendly server Matthew was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the menu and guiding us through to the choice we ultimately made, which was a $59. tasting menu...made fully vegan for us. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing food and great presentation (look at the pictures)!

The salmon was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were perfect!

The Meza (we had 12 plates for 5 people) were soooo good and very fresh and juicy!

The other group on the table loved their Mezas as well!

The bread was good but prepare to wait before each serving of bread 😉

Would recommend and enjoy your meal

Great food, excellent presentation and good service. Choice of patio during proper summer weather. Party facility. Also has a great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks with a full bar facility with TV at the bar to catch up on your team's score.

First impression is the last impression, and the impression from AYA will last forever. Food is addictive, ambience is luxuriously appealing and hospitality is exceptional. AYA means "wonderful", food served with such warm friendliness and professionalism, simply justifies the name AYA. Appetizers to desserts, every menu item was great. Salads, bread and meat platters, full of flavors and freshness. The collection at bar and bartender's mixology experience is also tempting. Sincere gratitude to our dear host, LOUIS, he is remarkable. Thank you AYA STAFF.....

This restaurant has literally ruined Lebanese fast food for us. It is so above and beyond good. I think it took 6 months before I had Amir or boustan. The sauce, the meat, the sides. I don't like fatoush salad, but that one, I cleaned the bowl.

Get the sample menu, try everything. Get a bottle of Lebanese red to wash it down. Ask for another basket of their HOMEMADE breads.

The portions are very generous, so come hungry.

I'd have one constructive criticism, it would be nice to finish the meal with a nice Lebanese coffee or Arab tea. But I'm nitpicking here.
