Thanks to the 24 hour emergency service I was able to rush my cat Koda who had a stroke and almost didn't make it 😭 ! There he had the medical care to save him . They also do follow ups to see how your pet is doing ! It's very expensive so ask them about the best options for pet insurance which I will be doing . Because losing a pet that's close to your heart isn't easy 💔 ! Just an update that my cat Koda passed away 3 months later and I'll miss him dearly ! Sometimes nothing can be done to help and you just have to say goodbye 😥 . If I knew he'd have to suffer twice I would have let him go the first time . I paid 3500.00 $ and the money didn't bother me it was losing my cat .

Our internalist vet, Dr.Cannavino, is at this animal hospital, and she is wonderful. She listens to our issues and takes the time to explain potential treatments and her diagnosis process. Our cat has a pretty complicated case.

I can also tell that they offer prompt, professional, and sympathetic treatment. While we were in the waiting room, a clearly distressed person came in with their cat, and the receptionist was very kind and professional. The cat seemed to have trouble breathing and was immediately seen. (The cat ultimately had to be put down from what I understand.) This hospital has a good priority/triage system, and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my cat here in an emergency.

Overall, the staff at the clinic has been very helpful. I was referred here by my clinic so that we could see the oncology vet. Information I received and the treatments my pet has had have been very thorough. I like how they send the report after each treatment via email, so you always have the info to look at in case you missed some information or didn't understand something.

The team at Centre Vétérinaire Rive Sud was amazing with my puppy. They kept me informed of how she was doing and offered me less expensive options for her care, which was much appreciated. In the end, I wanted the best people to care for her and they did not disappoint

The ophthalmology team (under the leadership of Dre. Briffod) are the absolute BEST! They treat my dog Ralph with respect and patience. He dislikes vet visits but they make him less stressed and show him a lot of doggy love.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. I'm late writing this one but this team are truly incredible. From the moment I called (they took my whelping girl's intake on the phone) to all the assistance with the delivery of 4 pups in a room that they provided, they went over and above every step.

It turned out to be a non-emergency but time was not on my side and she began to whelp there. They gave me a private room and allowed her to deliver 4 of her 6 pups there. They continuously checked on us and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. The entire team was fabulous and I am truly grateful there is such a qualified team just 10 minutes away.

To the staff working Canada Day (evening shift)
First I would like to say....... wow 😲 what great service !!! From the moment we called to the arrival of our pet, When we arrived there was a team that came outside with a stretcher and assisted my dog from the car to the stretcher and went straight to the back with her. The moment we walked in we were greeted and reassured by amazing women working at the front desk ( thank you so much for your calmness and reassurance, it helped calm us down 🙏). Also the quick acting staff that came and got our dog and started immediately taking care of her, ( no words can express how thankful I am to have witnessed sure great care and respect you guys have, the feeling of knowing that you animal is in good hands is an unbelievable feeling, thank you guys from the bottom of my heart ❤ ). lastly the Dr. Martin couellier......thank you for your time, understanding, sympathy, calmness, realism, guidance and all of the above care you have given to our fur baby. We really need more staff members and Dr's like all of you ❤🥰😘

We have seen both neurologists here for our dog, Archie. Both times were great. Our latest check-up was with Michelle Marian and she listened well and gave great recommendations and options. Would highly recommend for anyone needing a canine neurologist (although it can be expensive, it's worth it).

My dog is seeing the internal medicine dept at Rive Sud and she was surprisingly happy to see everyone there. (She is usually very shy/indifferent). They were very thoughtful, thorough. I'm very happy with the service and care from everyone that Lady saw while she was there.

This is an excellent vet hospital and they are fully equipped to di the appropriate tests as required. They offer suggestion and options that could be followed in caring for my pet. They are quite pricey but I feel it worth the money I spend

Excellent service and care of our West Highland Terrier. A strong respect for our two patrimonial languages.

CVRS has improved the health and quality of life of my dogs for over 10 years. It is wonderful to have so many specialists in one location, and they provide respectful, kind and compassionate care.

My Golden retreiver started coughing, retching and vomiting during the night. Drove back from the Laurentians and went immediately to CVRS. We got to see a vet within minutes, and my dog was diagnosed with kennel cough. We were given treatment options and decided to go with antibiotics, cough suppressants, and anti nausea meds. We were told that if the dog's condition didn't improve, to bring her back within 48 hours and there wouldn't another consultation fee, but we would go further with Xrays and blood tests, possibly a hospital stay. Happily my dog is improving rapidly. I definitely recommend this animal hospital.

Though we lost our baby, he was old, the experience was great! Understanding people, we had as much time as we needed. I would recommend this place for sure.

I’m surprised to read some of these comments because honestly, I could not have asked for a better “last treatment” for my 14 year old chihuahua. They put us in a private room with dimmed lights and gave me all the time I needed before I was ready to say my final goodbye. I’m still very much grieving today, but the way they treated me/my dog brought me so much comfort and peace, in such a difficult time. A couple of weeks later, I received a card from them by mail which was such a nice surprise and brought me “happy” tears. It’s all about the little things/gestures that make these sad moments just a little better. I really wish everyone that loves their pet just as much as I did, to have the same experience.

I rushed my cat to the hospital at 8 p.m. and he passed away just before.
They were very polite to us, and everyone gave us their condolences.
It was a sad time for us, but they were supportive.

My 8yr old (in 2020) cocker spaniel Bella came in with a cervical hernia causing intense pain and difficulty walking. It has been one week post-surgery and she is recovering amazingly! I would like to send my sincere thanks to Dre Leclerc, Myriam Doré and Dr Auger. They were very patient and understanding of my multiple questions and concerns. The whole team was very comforting during this hard time. We cannot thank you enough!

Edit (2023): It’s been three years since the surgery and Bella (now 11yo) is completely back to her pre-surgery normalcy. Thank you so much for saving her life <3

We went in late in the evening for our cat's tail which seemed fractured... Even though the wait was somewhat long (which is understandable and also nothing compared to human emergency rooms), the staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and the vet tech Ashley was so accommodating and nice to us.

They really took out a lot of the worries for our pet and focused on presenting us with solutions to the problem in the nicest and kindest way possible.

They care about our pets, and aren't about taking money, they're all about healing.

I hope I never have to go there again (y'know, its rarely for the good reasons), but if I have to, I'll be glad this place and this staff exists.

Friendly staff and great team. Our dog Buddy is closely followed by the Internal Medicine team and we couldn't be happier with the dedication and the attention they provide!
