We just celebrated our baby’s 100th day at this restaurant and I need to say this was the best decision we’ve made. The room was set up for us exactly the way we wanted and it was ready for us way before our arrival. The food was delicious and the portion was super generous. The service was truly impeccable, the staff were polite and very attentive to all of our needs. I’ve never seen such an efficient service and team. All out of our 10 dishes menu came out quickly, and all of our guests really enjoyed their meal. They even got to take out the remaining of the food since the portions were so generous. Thank you Imperial Team for the amazing food and service, you made our celebration even more pleasurable and memorable.

I visited imperial a few years ago at the other location before Covid. It was really good so I googled whether this dim sum place is still in Chinatown. It’s moved to other area but it’s still very delicious and crowded.

Amazing to go Cantonese food options. We had the fried soft crab, general tsos, beef and broccoli and seafood pan fried noodles. Order was packaged well. Food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Not too much msg in the cooking and food delivery was on point with the timing.

This is a great dimsum place, one of the best in Montreal. You order off a menu, not pushcarts, but the dishes are fresher, larger, and tastier than most competitors.

Delicious fresh food delivered promptly using their app. Food was reasonably priced and lovely atmosphere. They include a large pot of tea and unlike most other places theirs is strong good tea and plentiful.

Likely the best dim sum in Montreal area. As good as Markham. We were a party of 5 people and ordered a variety of dim sum, 14 dishes in total. Food was delicious and all for $125...before tips. Excellent value. The only complaint is no reservations. Everyone has to wait in line.

Excellent dim sum! For three people on a Sunday around noon, we barely had to wait—maybe two minutes—before a table was ready for us.
The ordering is via QR code on a phone and it was SO fast. Our egg yolk buns arrived in less than a minute! The service was fast, helpful, and friendly. And everything tasted fantastic. I recommend fried milk and fried taro dumplings.

Came there on a Saturday around 11:30AM. I would recommend people coming around this time cuz after noon, there’ll be a huge crowd waiting in line to get a seat. Orders were requested on the phone and food came pretty quickly. This is a very standard dim sum place with a reasonable price. I would recommend to those who have never tried dim sum to come visit.

Great no frills dim sum place. My family goes for dim sum literally every week. I’ve eaten in most of the highest rated dim sum places in Vancouver and Toronto. This is not your fancy dim sum plaxe. This is your excellent value with true Cantonese style dim sum fare. Don’t expect 5 star customer service as they don’t charge like one. Food is ordered by QR code which is original for dim sum. I really like this system as all items come in promptly with no ordering mistakes. They have all the condiments available for a HK style restaurant. Owners have been in the dim sum business for over 2 decades. Imho, must try for people visiting Montreal.

Ming and his team are the best! Very accommodative for our team ceremony lunch and everyone raved about the food (American and Vietnamese). Cared about our vegetarian person. Beautiful setting in the reserved room and service was great and reasonable prices, very conscious of our budget. Very honest. Would recommend 100%.

I've been here on a weekday for lunch. The food was amazing. Our dim sums came up steaming hot. That's what we liked the most. So many places in montreal, dim sum are warm/ cold, but this place served us hot ones. I find it interesting that we have to place an order through our phone. It's nice this way. You don't need to wait for the cart to come to you like other places because sometimes it can take forever. The service is OK. There is nothing to complain about but also nothing really to talk about. I like how spacious the place is and how tables are not too close to each other. The prices are a bit expensive compared to the others but I don't mind paying for the comfort of eating and the hot dumplings.

Possibly the best dim sum place in the Montreal area. Decent pricing for what you get. Banquet hall style dining place and you order by a QR code. Service was efficient and food was delish.

Second time here and the Dim Sum doesn't disappoint. So fresh and delicious and not too salty like other places. Although you order from an app, don't fret as they still have the carts that come and bring you your order 🙂 This place does get very busy so I suggest coming before 12 or even 11am cuz there will be line up.

Brand new and clean. Not traditional dim sum place, you have your own QR code, order through the link and the food will bring to your table. They don’t have all the ladies pushing the carts with food like other places. Food serve super fast after your order sent to the kitchen. Overall, food is good, portion is right.

Great place to go for affordable dimsum. Food order via phone, new but sanitary, and they bring it out really quickly. Everything is freshly made and tastes delicious. They also remove your dishes really quickly after you finish them so you always have places for more food. The only thing is that the seats and the floor were pretty messy as they don't have time to clean up spilled food waste.

The wait time for a Sunday at 11 was 15 minutes. Not bad

this place is absolutely amazing and i loved loved loved their lava custard buns and schezwan green beans - those were definitely the star of the show. wouldn’t recommend their xiao long baos but their chicken feet and tofu was also very good. quick service, reasonable prices, and overall a great experience.

I've only been to Impérial for lunch and it has definitely become my favourite dim sum restaurant in Montreal. Some people might feel more familiar with the ladies pushing the carts at other restaurants but I actually prefer placing my order and having them bring my food out. It's just easier and less noisy this way.

Also, on the weekends, it's better to come early in the morning when they open because the lineup can be long. We once came at 11h30 and waited over an hour but it was worth it.

The service is always good when we go here. During the ice storm in April, we had an outage at home and they let us charge our devices during our meal, which was super appreciated.

Great dim sum place. Typical Asian dim sum with erratic service and general pandemonium but the food is as authentic as it gets. Decor is grand, good enough to bring your non-asian friends who get squeamish about going to your typical mom and pop restos. When ordering using the app remember it all comes at once so order strategically.

Good dim sum place in this area. As there are not too much Chinese restaurant around, please prepared to wait a bit longer. An hour and more is expected. To be fair please try not to compare the price with Toronto, Scarborough or Hong Kong. Dim sum is delicious. Service can be better as there are over crowded with a lot of customers for sure. At least they have 2 long soft benches at the corridor for seating when waiting. They don't provide printed menu or dim sum card and replaced with a QR code for order. However, the menu is in English only that it might be inconvenient for the people who can read Chinese like me.

A decent dimsum restaurant. If good foods is the only thing you want to find then, voilà, this is the place.
