I got a "sincerely yours" and my friend had the strawberry matcha. both were beautifully presented and tasted great!

If you're on the VIP list, the hosts will show you the arcade in the basement. Good luck beating them at Tetris Challenger!

The cappuccino is great, but the frothy James is my favorite gaggia pressure enhanced creation here. Current barometric pressure was even used to calculate the ideal tamp/ pressure for espresso. Pretentiously Delicious!!

Oh, the sparkling water even came in a glass with a stem! Please note that the asparagus can be loud at times here.

Balwey is a hidden gem. If you are in the area, it’s worth a visit. The Frothy James has become my preferred coffee beverage. I had been warned to avoid the attic, but the window parapet was too appealing to keep me away, and I’m glad I went for it. The attic has the best views, and sunlight. It inspires a sense of adventure and nostalgia, but maybe isn’t recommended for the fainthearted.

Nestled perfectly in the golden polygon the Balwey manor is a must see if you’re driving through Kitchener. One of the owners, James, is extremely nice and will perform a rousing cover of any Celine Dion song you request. Truly worth the price of admission. Don’t leave before trying a “Frothy James.” It’s Waterloo’s best kept culinary secret

Where do I begin? The Balwey Manor is one of the finest establishments in KW.

The attic was superbly acquainted and felt remarkably homey. The pool was a terrific addition and the Frothy James’ were delicious and fairly priced.

Vote James Ball for city councillor.

The overground coffee experience is just as wonderful as the underground.

Would highly recommend the frothy James if you enjoy a cold, caffeinated beverage and a show.

The crisp, fresh from the garden, green peppers really took the experience to a 5 star level.

Midtown's hidden gem. Full of old curios, each with its own story. Great, local espresso.

Stop by the gift shop (next to the café) - if you time it right, you might catch an auction for one of the smaller pieces.
