Lotus Thai

Our favourite spot to go! The food is amazing, good prices and the portions are great. The staff is so friendly and welcoming :). We love going here definitely recommend!

Great fresh rolls. Lots of flavour with the dishes. Nice location and considerate staff. Food was hot and well prepared. Also had the pad thai before. Took that one home and was very good warmed up. Affordable entrees and mains. Would recommend for lunch or dinner

This was the best Thai food that I have ever had. The fried wontons were just crispy enough to get a nice crunch.
The chicken skewers were beautifully done and so flavourful. The pad se ew is the best dish of pad se ew I've ever had.
The menu has spicy indications for people who are sensitive to spice levels (me).
I would definitely recommend this to anyone in general but I think it's also a great opportunity for interested in trying different foods and cultures.

Five stars in terms of the delicious food and great service. I wish the atmosphere was better, though. Even just playing some music would go a long way. The ginger beef, fresh spring rolls and satay chicken are amazing, though!

Currently my favorite spot. The food is excellent and well priced. It's a small place without much in terms of decoration or flair, but the restaurant is clean, and the food is probably the best Thai in the province.

Tom Yum with beef, extra spicy is my favorite. We also had Pad Thai, Pad See-ew and honey garlic spare ribs. It was all great, and the service was fast. We left full, had leftovers, and didn't break the bank.

I've been travelling to Thailand since 2000 and love Thai food. I'm always a bit hesitant to try Thai restaurants outside of Thailand, especially in rural Nova Scotia. However, I like to keep an open mind. I was not disappointed with Thai Lotus. The food is delicious!

We started with the fresh spring rolls. 100% fresh and I could not believe the size. I love the dipping sauces. Next came the curry. I decided on the Penang curry [chicken]; my friend had the red curry [vegetarian]. Both dishes were delicious! The Penang curry contained loads of chicken, and the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness. The red Thai curry contained an abundance of fresh veggies, with the right amount of spiciness. Both dishes were served with white rice.

We were very happy diners. The owner dropped by our table and was happy that we were so pleased with our dining experience. The prices are very fair.

I highly recommend Thai Lotus. Arrive early or late because it's very busy during the lunch hour.

Deserves six stars ! just ate here, Singapore noodles, general chicken and Thai sweet chilli stir fry. Best food we have had in ages. What a gem this place is, fun pleasant server who knew the food real well. And very well priced too.

I had never been to a Thai restaurant before, but now I know I must go back! Such amazing flavour! Sweet, with a bit of heat. Veggies aldante, not mush! This was the perfect crunch and flavour!

Everything was delicious but the mango salad is amazing, my favorite by far.It is sweet,spicy,fresh and I hope the recipe never changes.

We had the ginger beef and green curry. The food and service was so wonderful we ordered two more dishes to go for later that night. Amazing people and place.

Authentic flavors, cozy ambiance, friendly staff. A must-try for Thai cuisine lovers! Highly recommend.

The food has so much flavor, server made sure we had water and extra napkins, always went above and beyond to make our meal great, recommended dishes are pineapple fried rice, Thai sweet Chilli chicken and pad Thai!

Definitely one of my favourite spots in the Valley!!

If you like Thai food that is done well, this is THE spot.

Because taste is subjective, I won't post any comments about what I liked about the food. Instead, I will say that I am having a lot of fun working my way through the menu.

First time we've had Thai food. It was DELICIOUS!!! We had take out. It was ready on time and well wrapped to keep it hot until we got home (15 min). Pleasant service.

I had a wonderful first experience here, and can't wait to try more of the menu.
The chicken satay was cooked *so* perfectly, I'm going to think about it for days.
Great flavour, service was quick and friendly, and excellent value. I personally would like more spice and heat, but I know that might not do well with other locals!
