I didn't go in the store this time, just the drive thru lumber area, but the guys in the lumber area are phenomenal. They are sooo helpful, and being a female I didn't have to touch a thing. It even started raining and the employee suggested I sit in my vehicle while he continued to load all the lumber.
Will definitely be back (this is actually my 2nd time this week 😂)

After being into other local stores looking for items to make a project work (needed to think outside the box to find something to work) with no success i decided to try Kent. To be honest I have only stepped foot into the store once before. I approached some guys at project desk and explained what I was attempting to do. Two immediately starting thinking of suggestions,one heading to a section looking while the second took me to a 3rd associate Aaron and we explained to him what I needed. He immediately started brain storming and we went section by section finding different pieces that could work. He spent a great amount of time listening and helping with each part. I was beyond appreciative of all the help as well as the time he took to make sure we found what could work also without breaking the bank
Kent has gained a new customer and Aaron deserves the recognition for ensuring I will be back for future project needs.

I was actually searching for discontinued lighting items that I had purchased years before. I was so pleasantly surprised when I was put in touch with Natalie in Lighting. She took the time to listen to my request by description as I no longer had product numbers. She found one exterior light in New Minas and tracked down the other for me at another store, WOW ! This type of customer service is uncommon nowadays, but highly appreciated. She even called back to make sure everything turned out. Awesome !

I love these people. Most of the folks who work there are very experienced and knowledgeable. Many of the employees are retirees, and I kid them about wanting to work there when I'm old enough... If you need advice, they've probably already done what you want to know about.

We had ordered a large quantity of stackable blocks that were not delivered when the order desk said they would be. After numerous attempts to contact the order desk (a very common occurrence at the New Minas NS store) with either no one answering the phone, no one calling back and finally no one taking responsibility – we were finally dumped on Jason in shipping and delivery. This extremely busy man explained what was missing from our order, assured us that what was available was set aside, gave us an idea of when Shaw brick trucks were coming (even though no one knew what is on the trucks ) and promised to call us with an update. Not only did he call (the blocks were not on this truck) he told us another was coming that afternoon and if the missing blocks were not there, but he would also get them and have the entire order delivered the next day – one week after the order desk stated the order would come. Our order did arrive as Jason promised.

This is the only individual who seems to a) know his job, b) answer his phone, c) honour his promises, d) return calls and do his very demanding job. We have been so frustrated with your order desk that we had decided we would never ever shop at Kent New Minas. Jason has changed our minds. We appreciated his hard work, honesty, and dedication.

Very helpful in saving me time. Got in and out fast.

I have shopped here on a regular basis and the staff have been extremely pleasant and friendly. I have had to make a couple of returns and the process was quick and painless.

Great flexible delivery putting the product where you want it. (none of the waiting around all day for it they come and just dropping your purchase anywhere they want.)

Service there had been excellent in flooring n counter top as well as sinks n accessories.... YOU know when you go in to Kent one would expect to spend money to get back over $200.00.....flooring went on sale i purchased a few weeks ago ...they suggested i take my receipt to customer sevice...no questions asked just refunded me the sale differents i was pleased with the proffessial sevice by all.

Went in to oick up an order of lumber and they told me to go to the drive through and I was very surprised they loaded the boards into the back of the truck for me. Thanks Kent. And of course the crew in the back
