Reopening for these wonderful new owners. We spent a short but amazing visit from Montreal passing through Whitby. Check out their cute flights ....float!

I am loving the brews coming out of 5 Paddles! 5 stars from me. Great beer, food, friendly atmosphere and they have some great events happening. If your local to Whitby, makes this your local!

Bring a canoe or kayak if you like, but you'll have trouble docking it on asphalt.

So good! Huge selection of beer with something for everybody to enjoy. The brewing is really cool, and is a great place to hang out and try a flight. We tried literally everything.

Really cool place, pretty chill atmosphere. I loved the Super Mario while I enjoyed my flight! Really inventive beers, tons of flavours and options. Friendly staff as well. We’ll definitely be retiring here with our doggo!

Great Durham brewery. Love sipping their new beers all the time. Staff is super friendly and happy to answer questions about their brews or point you to something you might like.

Ever since I found this place, I can’t stop coming in when I drive through the area.

Lots of great brews and always changing seasonals. Friendly and knowledgeable staff to boot.

Wish I’d been there a few days later to get their pumpkin habanero beer in a can, but at least I got a taster!

New owners have really fixed up the place. Friendly staff and they had some great new beers. Love the Ripple Effect Lager!

Came tonight for the first time and tried the skull pucker and the charcuterie board. Wow! The beer was deliciously flavourful and the charcuterie was top notch!! But seriously the charcuterie board was the best i’ve had in a long long time! Blows other breweries in the area out of the water with their beer and food options. Plus the owner was super nice and welcoming.

Wow! What a collection brewed here. Loving what they did with the stouts. Must visit again.

They offer pickup at the brewery. Until the pandemic is over, there won't be much socializing happening, but they have the space for a proper visit.

Also loved that they've participated in the Black is Beautiful collaboration. Awesome social conscience.

In terms of hospitality, this brewery is second to none. Friendly, informative, just genuine people and you can tell they have passion for their craft. On top of that, there is a large variety of on tap beers where many breweries are opting for 3 or 4 beers on tap and the rest out of a can. To put the cherry on top, they have a beer that contributes to an animal charity, what more can you ask for in a brewery?

We saw it online at 8:10PM tonight… and also saw it was still open (‘til 9PM). V’room, we were there in 20 minutes. The ladies working there were fantastic and helped us through our decision making process. They were awesome. Super cheery for a rainy night. Fantastic to see this place in existence. Luckily it’s the perfect distance from my house for a lunch bike ride along the water, a quick stop-in for lunch and a return home to work. My workday is now improved because they are there.
PS: Good little brewery. They have all the things a modern disco’y ‘beer-drinker’ drinks. I’m more of a old-style beer guy; a guy who prefers beer that doesn’t have overtures of flowers / butterflies / unicorns / rainbows. The very nice lady helped me arrive at one which worked well for me. I will return to try the others for their manliness (preferred) or their flowery aromas (not preferred).

The brewery is really good, especially the double IPAs. The dogs are allowed at the patio which is the best thing. I had a lovely time with me mates after 4 months of cvoid lockdown.

Five Paddles is by far my favourite craft brewery. Their beer never fails to impress. They are innovative brew masters who nail it every time with their unique flavours. Well done!!

I love the beer here, they're always bringing new stuff out as well as the classics my personal favorite is Home Sweet Home.

Friendly staff, great beer. It's a cool place to hang out with a pint. The music is always good.

Amazingly friendly staff. Knowledgeable about their beers and other breweries and spend the time happily chatting. We rented out there back room for the bench and they were really accommodating. The back room is the brewery with a section comfy tables and chairs and white Edison bulb lights. A casual but warm space. The beer selection was adventurous. Most of them were flavored so if you are a simple lager type person you may find the beer selection difficult. I really enjoyed their vanilla wheat beer
