Such an incredible pharmacy! I switched to Apothecare after some bad experiences with a “big box store” and I wish I had switched much earlier! They are incredibly kind, professional, and take the time to get to know their patients. They have addressed all of my concerns by asking questions and presenting options that work for me. I didn’t realize that pharmacists had the capacity to be so supportive and caring!

Just called Neil with a question about a drug availability and he went out of his way to help and research and even offered to call me back after he contacted the drug manufacturer. Great local pharmacy. The pharmacist Neil and Mike are very knowledgeable and caring . Excellent service. And always deliver medication on time without reminders. This pharmacy is highly recommended over the other ones .

We have been absolutely pleased with the professional care and treatment from Neil and Mike. This pharmacy is like no other. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere when you step in the door. When the potential threat of Covid for us reared its ugly head, it was reassuring to know that these two prize pharmacists were always there for guidance and support. Very kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable..Neil and Mike go above and beyond what any “big box” pharmacy would ever do! You don’t have to think about remembering to call in for a refill as they will have already taken the proactive step to make sure it’s taken care of.
I honestly cannot fit in this review all the great things about this pharmacy nor explain how caring they have been through the loss of my parents who were also patients/customers there, as well as all of my medical conditions on top.

Neil and Mike deserve every 5-star rating they have on here. The difference in service vs. Shoppers is nothing short of night and day.

Quite literally the best pharmacy I've ever had. When I first called to move my prescriptions here, I had one that was regularly on shortage (that has caused me to leave brand pharmacies like shoppers) and I've never had issues getting it since. They also seem to call every time I notice I'm running low on medications, saving me the hassle of remembering to call myself (which is half the battle). They offer really convenient deliveries, and generally just are phenomenal at their job.

Pharmacist Neil, Certified Diabetes Educator, is generous with his time, including free private appointments. After taking insulin since 1976, I still had problems controlling my blood sugar. Using Neil's gentle, up-to-date advice, I'm managing my diabetes much better now. I don't miss the crazy-busy drug store I used before. Apothecare is small, personal and private with lots of free parking. Neil and pharmacist Mike are always friendly and willing to answer my questions. I always feel welcome.

This by far has been the best pharmacy near me. I have tried a number of different pharmacies in Kitchener and Waterloo. It has been the best experience I have had with any pharmacy. When I searched Pharmacy Kitchener, I was surprised they did not come up with more reviews. Apothecare Pharmacy definitely deserve to have more positive reviews for their outstanding service. The first time I went there I walked in and my prescription was filled within 10 minutes and they addressed all of my questions and also provided other valuable information and recommendations. I also received a follow-up phone call from Neil to check in if I had any complications or other questions. I was amazed and so impressed with the quality of customer service. I have also had them do a free delivery for a prescription. They again followed up to check in with me to see if there were questions or concerns. I can't recommend this company more. There are so many options, whether it is face-to-face, text support, phone calls, e-mails. This was already being done before the pandemic and how much more this is valued now with everything that is happening.

Easily the best pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Neil and Mike constantly bend over backwards to make sure my medications are taken care of (especially since my doctors office is horrible and never sends faxes or picks up the phone). Switching from Shoppers Drug Mart to this pharmacy was easily one of the best decisions I've ever made and I never plan on switching pharmacies after seeing the amount of effort these pharmacists put into patient care. I'm so grateful I switched to this pharmacy especially since I've recently started getting more medications I NEVER have to worry about them since Neil and Mike are always on top of things. 100% worth switching from whatever pharmacy you're currently at given the quality of service Neil and Mike provide.

Apothecare is by far the best pharmacy I have ever been to. Mike and Neil go above and beyond for their clients. They call to see how you’re doing when you start a new medication or anti-biotic and to check if you’re having side effects. Plus, if you go in to fill a script, there is barely any wait time! They have it ready for you in a couple minutes! These guys are fantastic, and I won’t be going anywhere else. Thank you, Mike and Neil!

Friendly and approachable pharmacists. Genuinely the kindest pharmacy experience I've had. They genuinely care about how medication is effecting you. They are happy to answer questions too to make sure you understand what you have been prescribed. Call or text them to get your prescription setup.

They deliver or allow curbside pickup or in-store pickup. Low waste options available. Ask them about their reusable containers or bring your own container program.

I cannot say enough good things about Neil and Mike and their business. I never stress about anything. They always checkin about my prescriptions ahead of time, I never worry about forgetting or running out. They always let me know if I am out of refills and offer in advance to fax my provider so they have it on file BEFORE I need it. They work hard to get me the best price possible for prescriptions, checking every time before filling the script. I used to have incredible issues and headaches filling one regulated/controlled med, and I have never had a single issue here and they treat me like a real person. They offer delivery, payment electronically and by phone, and are always readily available during business hours by texting, responding within minutes. They even welcome my dog in when I walk over to pick up scripts! When I do pick it up, they always know who I am without asking and have it ready and waiting. Last time Mike dropped off my meds he brought rapid tests in case I might like to have some, just out of kindness. Exceptional human beings, the epitome of good business practices. I have never once regretted the switch to Apothecare and am a lifer for sure! If you feels getting your medications is a regular headache, have anxiety/health anxiety, or prefer to support small businesses this is a great fit.

First-rate pharmacy! I've used the services of many pharmacies in Toronto and KW over the years, and Apothecare is by far the best. Neil and Mike are friendly, efficient and go the extra mile to make sure their client's health needs are met with as little fuss as possible. Great job guys!

I ordered delivery service today from Apothecare and can not be more happy with the service. Neil was very quick to respond and delivery time was prompt and ETA was accurate. Neil also checked up on us afterwards. I will definitely use their services again!

Highest quality customer service! I communicate my needs via text, get prompt replies and delivery to my home. Staff are always one step ahead of me, anticipating my needs and clearing potential hurdles or delays with my insurance or my doctor. I am a very satisfied customer!
