Coldstream Clear Distillery

Went to one of the Sip and Snip events a while ago…staff was wonderful, great atmosphere and loved the event. I am a non-drinker and they even had some specialty, non-alcoholic drinks. Great spot with amazing staff.

Amazing, comfortable deck with nice views , fun and creative mixed drinks, cold tall boys and cans and a friendly staff that will keep you coming back. The shop on site is well laid out and has a huge variety of liqours and ready to serve drinks. The apple pie vodka is by far one of my favorite items here!

The Coldstream Clear Distillery tasting room is located just off the highway as you are headed into Halifax. It is really easy to access, but is hiding behind the Taco Bell so it is easy to drive past it the first time if you do not know what you are looking for.

Once you have found it the tasting room is a lot of fun. They have a wide range of rums and vodkas that you can sample as well as their sodas which are premixed drinks with soda water. You can also order a flight of cocktails which the staff makes right there in front of you. The day we visited the staff member was amazing and was very kind and helpful.

With your cocktail flight in hand, you can head out outside to enjoy drinking them. The drinks were all very tasty. We tried the Blueberry Mojito the Creamsicle, Espresso Martini and the Paradise. Our two favorites were the Espresso Martini and Paradise.

We stopped because we were working on getting stamps for the Cheers Trail, but it would be a great stop for anyone that enjoys small distilleries from the local area.

Fantastic place to stop to have a drink or to get drinks to take with you. The staff were great and very helpful 😁

Found this gem back in 2019, travelling back from Halifax to New Brunswick. Now I stop there every time. I’ve tried a lot of there products and all amazing. I’ve been begging the NB liquor stores to bring there product in. Also there sweaters are awesome and cozy.

Should have shares in this place. Amazing staff, locally owned. Love the vodka sodas and many low sugar and sugar free drink options.

This is the second time my sister and I have stopped here on our way to Pictou. Both times the staff have been so welcoming and friendly, its just a great spot. I wish we could have enjoyed the patio at some point but have to make a trip back to enjoy it on our next time out that way.
They have a new pumpkin chai, or pumpkin spiced cream, much like their coffee cream and its dangerously delicious.
As tempted as I was to buy it, I went for my two classics, the apple pie vodka(strong hint of caramel, spices and just belly warming goodness) and the coffee cream(which tastes like a boozy coffee crisp).

This company is certainly prominent in our local market, and I hope we can continue to support our local vendors. Then they certainly can stand on the national, and perhaps international stage, soon!

Absolutely wonderful. The 2 staff on were very helpful, knowledgeable and delightful. Enjoyed the flights and bought some things there to enjoy at home. Highly recommend stopping there. 🎄

I’m from Ontario and had the pleasure of trying many varieties of Cold Stream. Loved it. Can’t wait to see it in our stores. The coffee cream was one of the best Christmas gift my daughter sent me. Hoping for more in the years to come.

Really like this place, stopped for Tacos ended up with a bunch of vodka in the trunk. Gorgeous space and they make a mean drink, especially the hopped vodka which is very cool. Staff seem super pleasant, usually talk to the same lady when i go in and she is great to chat to and will let ya take a swig to try out the samples. I travel this route a lot and this has become one of my favorite spots, just good maritimers make a great drink

Ladies in here taking care of business. Hit the bar up for the tasters lol. Wife's buzzin. Makes for a quiet trip to Peggy's Cove lol. Great store very knowledgable staff. Clean store for sure

You never know what tasty new concoction you'll discover here! From canned mixed drinks to an amazing assortment of vodkas and rums, you will not be disappointed with anything you pick up here. My personal fav is the lemon iced tea vodka canned drink - the perfect anytime refreshing drink. Try their creamed coffee run - it tastes like a coffee crisp chocolate bar! The new Triple Decker fir The Lower Deck in Halifax is also not to be missed!
