Whistler's Pub

I found this pub after not being able to find a decent place in Halifax to grab a bite to eat. The staff was immediately friendly, and the food was exceptionally good. I had the big steak they have there and the order was ready quick and cooked to perfection.

It was a good experience all around.

Great spot in a little town for dinner and drinks. Their fish and chips are great, pan fried haddock is way beyond expectation. Salad is probably my least favourite out of these. Good service, plenty of seating. Even has a stage and couple pool tables. Great vibe. Reasonable price and a great selection of food and drink menu!

Best skins around. Service is always great and the waitresses are fantastic. Sometimes service can be a little slow depending on how busy they are but that generally isn't a problem. If you let them know you're in a rush they will try to speed it up for you.

Ordered fish and chips. Food was fast fairly priced and delicious. Enjoyed a couple of dirty blonde beer on tap. Delicious. Had a great service and a excellent waitress. Good place to check. I will be back and I can't wait. 5

Stopped buy for a beer Tuesday night on our two week vacation touring NS. Angela was friendly and courteous and a delight to chat with.

Was here for a celebration of life., great service and atmosphere.

We were told about this place off the beaten path .wonderful food and staff steak was so good I'm going back for sure .

The skins were so delicious! Wasn't a huge fan if the honey garlic ribs probably would've taste better in a different sauce. Always wonderful staff!

We love Whistler's, the manager and ones who've been there a while are always so friendly and wonderful. The food is awesome if you actually order the "pub" food that's intended, not lasagna or something that you should be ordering at a pasta restaurant.

I had a sirloin tip steak and they made it perfectly medium well. The only thing is there wasn't enough mushrooms and onions for the price. I got 1 slice of onion and 1 mushroom. Other wise I enjoyed myself very much and their food was delicious.

Clams and chips (had choice of fresh cut potatoes) were perfectly cooked. The special Ribs and potato skins were very good and plentiful. Took half home and were even good reheated. You entered by the front door, waited to be seated at tables that were at least 6 feet apart, the server wore a mask and you left by the side door.
Would return if ever in the area.

May 28th, 2022. This was my first visit. The service was very friendly, and the waitress all had smiles. Had fish and chips...yummy food going out looked very good. The afternoon band was awesome to listen to.

Thoroughly enjoyed a burger and fries here after a day on the river - food was delicious, server was kind and attentive. Live music was wonderful even if we were there just for a short time.

Had supper here and it was nice. Our wonderful server Jessica was a sweetheart. Amazing service with a smile. Food was great. Had seafood platter and steak dinner! Nice atmosphere and fabulous service!

Had a absolutely delicious meal here today!! Ribs and skins and will be back!

It's Valentine's day and it was wing night , it was very busy but our server was great . The wings were really good and we had steak and fries which was good , we couldn't finish the wings they were very generous in size so we took a few home . It was very reasonable and the atmosphere was laid back and friendly and the food on the neighbor's table looked very scrumptious as well , lol .
I'll be back sooner than later.
