Porter's Farm Market

This is a great little market, with the best eggs in the county as far as I'm concerned. It also has a wonderful frozen meat selection, Venison, Elk, Bison to name a few of the exotics, at fairly reasonable prices, they also have beef, pork[their own], chicken and in season the best turkeys. I highly recommend that you check this shop out. My only negative thought is on Sat.'s they should be open from 10 am as most people who would shop here on their way home from shopping in New Minas would be going home before noon. So today I'll have to buy a dozen eggs some place else as, I can't wait 'til noon.

Need to buy any kind of meat? In the first time in Canada I found a place that even sells kangaroo meat as well as Ostrich meat. 😳 OMG. I bought some wild boar meat. Lucky, I didn't find any lion meat there.

Does not look like anything special from the outside of the building, but don’t let that stop you from going in. Freezers full of locally sourced meats with a huge variety! Fresh farm eggs and kind service. First time dropping in and it won’t be my last! Support local!

A great little family owned farm market. We get our eggs here all the time now. They keep their chickens loose and not in cruel cages.

Best spot for free range eggs, tasty kale, and all kinds of tasty grass fed meats! We get all of ours here :) Thanks!
