I recently returned To take Owner up on offer to make things right. The food was great. The service was wonderful and I really appreciated the offer to make things right . I updated my original post to reflect this. . Thank you.

I come to this restaurant every time I’m in the mood for a Shawarma wrap they make the best in my Neighborhood. In my opinion. Always very happy with my food and service until tonight. My wrap was burnt. The chicken inside was dry and way overcooked. My poutine had barely any gravy or cheese on it. The service was great as usual but I am sorely disappointed in my food this time.

It was my first time here, the customer service was second to none, they swiftly attended to orders without delay and the taste of the shawarma was divine. I am hoping to try gyro next time I visit

I've tried many shawarmas in Kitchener, but Highland Halal Shawarma takes the prize! The perfect balance of juicy chicken and generous fillings. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the quality is top-notch. If you're a shawarma and shawarma poutine lover like me, look no further, this place is a must-try!

This place always delivers good food!
We regularly buy Chicken shawarma fries plate and falafel wrap.
The falafels are to die for !!!!
Portion sizes are huge. Extra spicy isn't overly spicy for indians, you don't want it to taste bland.

Even for online deliveries, they send fresh food, never had a bad experience with them. That's what i like the most about Highland shawarma.
Some restaurants send out stale food for online orders, but these people never do it.

They don't have a dine-in option. Only takeaways are allowed

Great food at a great price.

On my last visit, my family ordered the Full Flavour Shawarma and the Shawarma Plate with Rice, along with a side of fries. The portions are generously sized and we had leftovers. The meat was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. All of the fillings/toppings were fresh. The fries were a little over-cooked and dried, though on another visit they were great. Still, I would return again for another order the next time I get the urge for shawarma.

Strong great burst of flavour when you take your first bite. What is really amazing is the flavour stays consistent thought your whole time eating the wrap. So delicious!!!!! The service was very fast and they were very kind. For 8$ after tax, this is a great, quick spot to eat lunch.

Tried the #falafel #shawarma at this place and trust me this is the best in #kitchener. The falafel were fresh and cooked in-house. They were not frozen. The quality of food here is at a different level and price is also very reasonable.

The best shawarma place in Kw. Its my favourite place to take my friends!! Its open till 2 AM is another best part.

The best shawarma in town! Finally, they are open late so I can get my midnight fix of shawarma! They're garlic. Sauce is delicious! Service is always great, staff is always friendly! Definitely try shawarma plate!

I am a huge shawarma fan and have tried many places in the Waterloo region, but this was definitely one of the best! I ordered a shawarma poutine - the portion size was massive but the flavours? Absolutely delicious! Sometimes I worry about ordering a poutine from a place where it isn't the main speciality because you can often end up with soggy freezer fries and artificial tasting gravy, but this was not the case here. Everything from the fries to the chicken and sauces was perfect! A total flavour bomb.

Best place in town. Original shawarma feel. Specially gyros are so good here.its almost 2 years i bought the food from here. Never disappointed.

I had meals here (Highland Halal Shawarm) so many times including this night, and I always never get disappoint in what I order, if it’s the Falafels, the Gyros or better yet; the Shawarmas. Another thing that amazes is that all their staff members are so friendly and understanding, they communicate well with each and everyone of their customers, so I recommend this place to everyone, it’s the Best in Tri-cities. Yummy 😋

Parking is pretty tight in the lot, better to come by bike.

The cashier mohamud was super helpful and kind. There shawarma here is absolutely amazing and I promise no one’s going to regret trying this place out.
I would highly recommend their Shawarma wrap and Gryo.

The wraps are the best I have ever tasted. They are well packed with shawarma and fresh salad.
