Egg Roll King

I was just in there to get lunch while working around the corner. I have had they're egg rolls before and they were indeed the best I've ever had. This time I ordered a combo off of the owner's recommendation. It is FANTASTIC. Everything tastes fresh and made to order, this is definitely one of the best spots in town hands down I recommend it to anyone. The price is amazing for the amount and quality of the food, there should be a line out the door every day as far as I'm concerned.

So I've lived in k-w for going on 40 years and Egg roll King is my new favorite. Great Canadian Chinese food, easy ordering and delivery guy is very friendly. Thanks and will be back.

Edit. Several months later and I have ordered here a bunch of times now. Still very satisfying and would definitely recommend.

First time grabbing dinner from Egg roll king today.

So... This is the best Chinese take out I've had. I literally took 5 bites and had to stop to write this review.

The food isn't greasy, the portion sizes are great, the prices are more than fair, the employee, who I think was the owner, was incredibly nice and welcoming and rushed our order for us!

To top this all off, he must have skipped the prompt for tipping on the debit machine before letting me pay.

Next time (and there will be a next time!) I will make sure to bring cash to tip after this great experience!

The Egg Roll King is a masterpiece of a restaurant, and a truly fine experience. Each and every staff member puts their best effort to make it a remarkable experience, and the Egg Roll King himself has a wonderful and tender personality. I must also thank the Egg Roll King of allowing me to transcend to a higher plane of existence, and finding out the truth about the world. This establishment has made me see the truth, and isn't that what we all want? Also, the egg rolls are really good :)

The food is quality and delicious. Everything I've had there is great. I'd recommend the A1 Rice or Singapore Noodles. The owner is very cool and friendly. This place is a longstanding staple of Kitchener and it is fully deserved.

I've been going here for 15+ years but sadly don't get this treat as often anymore since I've moved farther away. We still make the trek out every now and then because it is so worth it. The name is very suiting, as they have the best egg rolls I've ever been able to find, and the rest of the dishes I've had from there follow close suit. Their pad thai is amazing as are their combo plates. Cantonese chow mein is incredibly tasty. I could go on, but I'll stop here lol. Highly recommend giving this place a shot, it's delicious! And I'm pretty sure the same small family has been running it for as long as I've been going there

I don't usually enjoy Chinese food but this was great. The price was the lowest I've paid in years for the amount of food served. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken balls combination plate. The fried rice was the best. The restaurant was clean.

Well, colour me impressed! Really, really enjoyed the food. Staff was very personable and friendly. Admittedly, they made a small mix up in our order (given the fact they were crazy busy it wasn't terribly shocking). Now, everyone makes mistakes, but it's how you handle that defines your character.

This establishment handled it with grace and aplomb. Highly, highly recommended, not only for the great tasting food, but also the great attitude! Portions were very generous. The hot and sour soup was especially good - quite a spicy kick to it!

The only downside is that parking is somewhat limited, and during rush hour, backing onto Courtland can require some patience. I'd suggest parking on the side road and walking the extra ten feet.

Best wonton soup I've ever had. Chicken wings are insanely tasty. Unbeatable egg rolls. Absurdly good value.

Wow! What flavours!! The food was fresh, piping hot and delicious!! The spring rolls were the best I’ve ever had. All made in HOUSE!! That sets this place apart! What a gem! Will definitely be back!!

So far ordered twice, both times I’ve been blown away by the quality. They honestly set a far higher standard for Chinese food in general. This will be my go to for the foreseeable future. Friendly service on top of the amazing food really sets them apart as well.

A great little hole in the wall, Chinese restaurant. The restaurant is super clean and the Owner and workers are very good and provide great service. Food is absolutely delicious! I great little spot, with decent prices and a lot of food per dish! The meals are always super packed and the containers are full to the brim! I will be a repeat customer!

This is my favorite place whenever in mood for some Asian cuisine. The owner is such an amazing human, do you know he donates all the tips? Another reason to go there. Isn't it. Food is good. Not just good, it's great. The best. Until covid it was a dine in place now it's only takeout and delivery, but, it is still the best. Love the food and people there.
