Fundy Veterinarians - Shubenacadie

First, let me say, THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY ANIMAL HOSPITAL! We went there after my dog woke up with a very swollen paw following a bad cut on her leg. We chose this clinic as it was advertised as an emergency veterinarian, and a few reviews reflected that service as well. However, upon arrival, we were informed that they're not an emergency service, and you do need an appointment and medical history on file.

That being said, they booked us in for that day, and were very accommodating to my dog's needs. The doctor and assistant were friendly and gentle, and they gave us clear instructions on at-home wound care.

Overall, I do recommend this clinic, just not for emergency help.

The best vet clinic around, both for large animal and small! Our recent visit with our 3 dogs was entirely positive from the perspective of both human and dog! One of our dogs had a terrible experience at a different vet clinic a couple of years ago, and the staff at Fundy have helped us turn him from an incredibly nervous dog, into a fully confident patient ❤ thank you for the patience and time, and top quality health care!

My cat tooth got infected I took her to the vets they looked at her put on on medication they took her as a patient. They made another appointment in a week to fine out how she was. We had to take our sweet old man (15), Rambo, last Sunday he was not in a good way. Dr. Clarke and the vet assistant we had were very compassionate and understanding with us as we said our goodbyes and let us stay with our sweet boy as he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. We are very thankful that there are still compassionate, non judgmental kind people in this world. We are also grateful for the gentle words, care, and respect they provided to our little man. Thank you both.

We have had nothing but great experiences here. They are Always so accommodating. Staff is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. Great with your fur babies.

I've been using Fundy vet for 3.5 years now and they have always provided a phomenal level of care. Their vets are always knowledgeable and genuinely care about your animals' health. They've given great advice and care both my dogs and my cat. It is easy to arrange to pick up meds and to book appts. I moved but still drive 45 mins to be able to continue using Fundy vets for my pets.

My brand new mini Pomeranian weighing little over a pound fell off our bed. Fundy vets took our emergency right away. The vet in Elmsvale told us they couldn't fit her in. Fundy vet all the way for me.

I have had a number of occasions when I have taken one of my animals to Fundy Veterinarians for after hours care. I have nothing but the highest praise for this vet clinic. Everyone - the vets, vet technicians and all the other staff are always cheerful, friendly and helpful - even very late at night after they have already worked a long day. The vets are caring and knowledgeable - especially Dr. Clark and Dr. Deveau. This is a VERY tough job and these folks are the best. Thank you for the care you give us and our four legged family.

I have been using Fundy Vet for over 14. Years after moving back to Nova Scotia. Most dealings are on large animal side as I have horses. Of all the Vet clinics I have delt with across the Country, the Fundy Team tops them all. Recently took a new puppy in for vaccines and was an amazing experience as Dr. Todd ___ sat right on the floor with him for the exam and vaccines, was Zero stress for playful puppy, you were caring, knowledgeable, and thank you for making this visit for him a positive experience.

Professional and friendly service, answered random questions about my dog and gave her the needles with no stress. Bella feels comfortable there and clearly wants to go back.

I have been going to Fundy Vets for 32 years. My 2 year old Shepard/Lab mix had been hit by a truck and severely injured his back leg. This was the first time I met Dr Eye and Audrey, the receptionist. It was after hours. From that night until my visit last week with my present furry bud, Harley, my pets and I have been shown nothing but kindness, good advice, and professionalism from the Dr's, technicians, and the front desk staff. I consider them an important part of my life.

They are really professional and my little dog gets the best care here

So helpful, kind and caring at a very difficult time. Dr. Eye and a technician came to my home when it was time for us to say goodbye to our beloved Rupa.
